“Recently order a cake for my daughter’s baby shower. It was beautiful, tasty and moist. Everyone at the shower loved the cake. I got a 3 tier cake. I wanted strawberry with strawberry filling and cream cheese icing. She suggested I do one tier of a different flavor for those who make not like fruit. We went with one tier of chocolate chip. So happy we did. It worked out so well! I gave her 2 photos for inspiration and it turned out so perfect. Highly recommended!“

“I was so sure that this would be just another boutique business that overcharges for small portions of middle of the road quality products.Boy was I wrong. We have been there three times in a month and sampled at least six or seven of their cookies and every single one was exemplary. They have a nearly perfect combination of texture and flavor and they hold up out of the refrigerator for days. They are a bit pricey of course, but their cookies are probably the best tasting I've ever had that were not fresh out of my own oven. In fact most of their cookies are better than mine lol. But if you’re looking for doughy, these aren’t it. I had the g free pretzoli and only wish I had stocked up on some other Gfree pretzel treats. The pretzel itself was chewy and delicious. My husband had the cinnamon bun waffles... he's a sweets lover, and he was very happy that the waffle wasn't overly crispy. The icing on top was the perfect touch. He also had an iced matcha latte, which was (surprisingly) blended. He loved it! If it wasn't for the rush of customers, he would've gotten another one to take home. I had an iced dirty chai latte--it was the perfect mix of spiced chai and bold coffee. Maybe one of the best that I've tasted.“

“Me and my wife spent a $100 on two cheesecakes. One being the original and the other being pumpkin. The original was great and what we have come to expect of a juniors cheesecake. The pumpkin cheesecake on the other hand was dry and lacking the cheesecake flavor. It was so dry it was hard to swallow. We got it for a Christmas party and the people where disappointed. They advertise a 100% guarantee but my wife emailed them this to no reply. Update: My wife finally got a response and they quickly resolved the issue by sending us a replacement original cheesecake. I might of jumped the gun with this review and should of been more patient. They made everything right and that says a lot these days. We will continue to order our favorites from Junior’s in the future.“

“I had such a good time at Awesome Little Cupcakes’ cake decorating class. This is a fun activity to do with friends, family, a date, or by yourself. I went by myself and ended up making some friends. I definitely learned some techniques during the class, but don’t be fooled - Cake decorating is not easy! I need serious help with piping and getting frosting smooth on cakes so I’ll need to practice a lot more on my own. However, now, I’ve got some good techniques that I can try at home and some that I haven’t even heard in YouTube videos. I’m thinking of going again and taking my teenage son with me for some sweet family time. I do want to mention the price of the class is definitely worth it. You are provided with everything you need: Cake, frosting, & supplies to decorate with. You get to take home your decorated cake in a box, and it’s a nice, heavy cake. The cake itself also tastes so good. I got the vanilla one.Parking: This area is busy so make sure to get there with time to find parking.“

Over by Rillings,, down by Sketcheys etc. Bought dozens of cakes out of the case for many friends for many occasions. Today at Danish Bakers I was charged $2 for writing HAPPY BIRTHDAY. No heads up that a 1 minute service that bakeries have done as a courtesy forever. Just the counter girl writing it. It would surprise you how many places just play any music now - classic steak houses playing mumble rap. Anyway, we got the chicken fricassee, the Shaffle Waffle, a flavored tea, and the Mirage(dessert) and Medovik(dessert). The tea set was very cute, with a tea light warmer underneath, but I wasn't a fan of the tea - my boyfriend ordered some sort of lemongrass tea. The chicken part of the fricassee itself was great, but the rice was dry, almost like it was reheated from the previous day. A slice of bread to wipe up the remainder of the yummy sauce would've been nice. The waffle was also dry - like they made a big batch and just reheated to serve - which is fine when done correctly but in this instance was tough and chewy - maybe cover it so it remains moist? The desserts were okay, nothing memorable but decent. Portion sizes were on the small side but we were still full by the time the meal was done. I wouldn't mind coming here again with my girls for the experience but it won't be my main spot. The vision is there, it just needs some tweaking.Edit:I changed this from 3 to 4 stars because looking back at other reviews, they handle the negatives with grace and do seem to make efforts to rectify things people have had issues with.
