“Estia is an unbelievably great experience! Our server, Saki and the rest of the staff were beyond helpful and accommodating. We took our daughter and a friend to celebrate her graduation and were very pleasantly pleased from stepping in the restaurant to leaving. Saki, took the time to connect with each of us providing friendship and guidance on how to enjoy their restaurant and our experience to the maximum extent. Make a reservation and then go tuck into great food and a life experience you will not forget.“
“This is a South Street staple. The menu hasn't changed in decades because it's just that good. I've dined in and gotten takeout dozens of times over the years, and the quality is always great.I love the seasonal Avgolemono soup, and their Baba Ghanoish is some of the best I've ever had. Gyro pita is a great to-go option. Don't miss out on the sides!! Their roast potatoes are heavenly, also stewed veggies and gigantes (roasted Lima beans) taste amazing even for people who aren't usually into vegetables. Trust me!! If you're dining in, do try the whole branzino....so amazing! The owners have been the primary cooks for decades, and you'll see them behind the line every day. An amazing, friendly place that just can't be missed!“
“Gfg is amazing service and food!! The customer service is unmatched feeling like you’re family. You can tell they truly care about their customers and it radiates in their cuisine. Such high quality food for reasonable prices. Definitely would recommend!“
“The service here was great! The DJ played great music! All the food we ordered was great, my favorite was the shrimp kadaifi. I went here for my friend's birthday and it was the perfect vibe. Bathroom did have a long line the entire time we were there.“
“Quite possibly the greatest and authentic Greek gyro I have ever tasted. The owners are very hardworking and respectful people. The workers give a great service and lovely attitude. A very great place to stop by when you are in the city looking for a place to fill your belly.“
“Without a doubt the best gyro I have had. Very unique spicing and sauce. I strongly suggest having it over a pita. My son had a chicken tender, which was freshly fried, and he enjoyed it very much. The counter service is friendly and helpful, and they went out of our way to make my son comfortable.Highly recommended!“
“My husband and I tried Black Olive for the first time tonight. We enjoyed a grilled octopus appetizer and two pasta and seafood dishes for dinner. I would love to tell the you the name of the dishes but I couldn’t pronounce them let alone remember them. My husband had a dish with orzo, shrimp, muscles, and octopus in a red sauce. I had a dish with pasta, shrimp, feta and Kalamata olives in a white wine sauce. The meals were pricey but we both enjoyed our dishes and would probably return here. Our server was Murat. He was very attentive and added to the pleasant experience.“
“I consider myself to be a Gyro connoisseur, and I have to say this is the best Gyro I’ve had in Philadelphia!Taziki sauce was on point, lamb was cooked to perfection and the bread was delicious…..lastly, the staff was friendly and service was fast.“
“This place is a welcome oasis when you're looking for something fresh to eat at the mall. They make pretty awesome salads because they have such a massive variety of different lettuces and vegetables to top with but the falafel sandwich is the BEST thing on the menu, in my opinion. The falafels are fried and not baked so that's a downer but it's so worth it because they're moist and seasoned just right. Also the portions at this place are really big. One salad can feed two people and one falafel sandwich without any sides will definitely fill up a grown man. (I'm a woman but I eat like a man, so I feel qualified to make that statement ) I like to order from here when I'm doing projects at home and I don't feel like stopping to make lunch.“
