The food was too good that the atmosphere was disappointing. Pasta tastes like you’re sitting in a 5 star Italian restaurant but atmosphere/decor is more like a poke bowl/burrito/burger place. Maybe I haven’t had pasta in a long time, but theirs was incredible - tried the tortellini vodka and mushroom ravioli. The sauce had a perfect flavor and the pasta was such good texture I can only assume it was hand made!
Place was so good I want to come here for valentines but like I said atmosphere is a little lacking, so I’ll do take out and prepare a nice date at home. But I understand their business and it makes sense, going for the 5 star Italian atmosphere necessitates fancy waiters, hostess, not to mention an impressive selection of wine is just not a rational economic decision.
That’s fine, I didn’t go there for the atmosphere to begin with, I went for the food and I was absolutely impressed - I will be going back, they have rightfully earned a repeat customer through excellent food and decent service (staff were very nice!)
Parking: Street parking on a side street. Realistically only 2-3 spots AT BEST. Better luck parking on the main road and walking 100-400 feet
Kid-friendliness: Great for kids! Casual atmosphere means you won’t be disrupting any fancy dinners.

They have kosher pizza and sushi, both decent, but not exceptional. We were passing by and able to get some food suitable to our needs which is a great thing, but such a parlor looks merely like a survivor in the declining community.

The food tastes good but it’s overpriced and the service is horrendous. Management clearly does not know how to run a restaurant. My wife and I went with another couple for dinner, and two meals were brought out initially, with the other two arriving 20 minutes later. The two whose meals arrived first felt they couldn’t eat until the other meals arrived and by then of course, the first two were cold. This is the third time we’ve had this experience at this restaurant. Not a great look. The place is clean and it’s kosher but I would not go back again.
