Appalling Customer Treatment – Paying Customer Falsely Accused Because Staff Lost Receipt:

I am a medical professional who works hard for my money, and I have never been so deeply disrespected, degraded, and publicly humiliated by a restaurant in my life.My party was the last table of the night at the East Brunswick location. After dining, I paid my $70+ bill with my credit card. The transaction processed successfully, and a pending charge immediately appeared on my bank account. I signed the merchant copy of the receipt, left it on the table, and walked outside.While in the parking lot, an employee chased me down, aggressively and falsely accusing me of not paying. She brandished a newly printed receipt, demanding I sign it. I refused to sign a blank document in a dark parking lot and went back inside to find my original paperwork.Upon walking in, I discovered the staff had already completely cleared my table. They searched through the trash and realized they had accidentally thrown away my signed receipt while rushing to close the restaurant.Instead of taking accountability for their own careless administrative mistake and politely apologizing, the staff doubled down. They treated me like a criminal and demanded that I apologize to them for being upset about a false public accusation.My bank statement proves I paid. I kept the moral high ground explaining to the gentleman who said he was the manager of how the situation should’ve been handled, explain it was an oversight, apologize but not accuse without accountability, because of this treatment I will watching my charges to make sure only purchase was charged and the tip was not taken. Management completely failed to handle this, and to this moment, no one has apologized. I am filing formal complaints where necessary. If you value being treated with basic human dignity, do not eat here.

Had awesome customer service here and that matters a lot to me. The food was good and our waitress was very pleasant and helpful as well. Would definitely come back again and hope i'd get the same waitress.

I have to say the experience I have, I've always had great service from the staff especially from Levan. He has always, since ive been a customer provided exceptional service not just to me but the other customers. Great job and well deserved recognition.

Had a great dinner,happy hour drinks & apps.Our waitress Essence was awesome..ordered 2 delicious seafood dinners.. be back for sure.

It was a large, but nice location. The servers were attentive. The food was well spiced.The portions were reasonable for the price.

Tried to order some food over the phone, but the options were too great and order was getting pricey. So the server, helped! I told him I wanted Snow crab legs, sausages, corn and shrimp to feed 4 people!He offered great suggestions at great price points! When I got to the resturant & checked the order and it was awesome. I was so happy I gaved the server who helped me a $20 tip! My family enjoyed the meal. The food was great!💕

Had an amazing seafood boil lunch! Bib, gloves, and all, it was as much of an experience as it was a meal. For what you’re getting and how much of it, the pricing is amazing. Would definitely come back. Be sure to wear dark colored pants and short sleeves!

really enjoyed the 1/2 lb dungeness crab with the house special blend of spices. The sausage was pretty good as well.

Great service and great food ! Their catfish basket and wings are soo good ! Their broil is so delicious and the snow crab, green mussels, mussels, shrimps and lobster is so fresh! I highly reccomend anyone to come and get a bite ! During the week they have great deals !

The food and our bartender Levan were GREAT!! 3 stars on the atmosphere because The lights at the bar were so bright. It felt like we were sitting in a cafeteria. Will come back!
