Caribbean Queen Cuisine is a really clean and cute spot on Park Avenue in East Orange, offering delicious Guyanese and Caribbean food. The service is welcoming, friendly, warm, and attentive. The food is absolutely delicious, amazing, simply delicious, and best in town, seasoned to perfection and full of flavor. It is a great little spot for a real taste of the islands.
Specific meals praised include the Stew Chicken Rotti, Stew Chicken Dinner, bake and saltfish with the works, Sailfish and bake, Curry shrimp, Curry chicken, jerk chicken, cow heel soup, curry goat, and the Large Oxtail Dinner with Collard Greens and Rice and Peas, noted for extremely tender oxtails and decent portions. The Mac n Cheese is also highlighted as creamy and delicious. The restaurant is small, so takeout is suggested over eating in, and parking can be hard to find, but the flavorful and reasonably priced food makes it worth it. It comes highly recommended.
