Charlies restaurant is a great tasting little gem in the town of East Orange. The waffles are delicious. The potatoes are delicious they make the eggs just right I really enjoy eating food from Charlies. The owner has always been kind to me, as well as the young ladies behind the counter. Always great food always great prices and the best uptown and Midtown drinks that I’ve had.
Charlies has never missed a beat. They have never disappointed me. You do need cash but when I’m in the area this is my go to. Grant it I only been here for breakfast I’m sure the other food is just as good. Customer service is good as well.
Charlies is the most decent place in East Orange. They serve breakfast til about 2pm or a little after. They close at 2:30 not 2:40pm. Have items like waffle, pancake, french toast, grits, eggs, different types of bacon and sausage
