The rating being only 4.1 is criminal. Best Soul food in NJ and it’s not close. We lost Je’s and Chess House and I lost hope UNTIL I found this place. And the owner is the sweetest. Don’t hesitate just go.
I bugged my sister for weeks to give Lite & Soul Eatery a try. We finally did and it was amazing 👏🏾. My sister said the customer service was stellar 👌🏾 🙌 and she's big on CS if you know her. I'm glad we found this place, keep up the great work. Cornbread amazing, mac and cheese amazing, yams amazing, and gravy was amazing on them chops. My apologies, I didn't take pictures but the portions were worth the money and looked similar to the pictures...
The food was devine, the service was amazing, and the energy in atmosphere there was superb... this was my born day gift to myself and babeeeeeee it was filling. Big thanks and blessings to you sis and your establishment. 1love, peace, and prosperity.
