Atmosphere is dark and empty opposite of inviting.... Didn't see a menu or price list. Chicken was good but a tad bit warmer warmer than cold. Rest of the food was cold and the rice was hard meaning not cooked or old and guessing on how they keep their restaurant I'm guessing it was old. It's sad how people take advantage of locals and just serve up anything

Drive by this place daily and finally decided to stop. Pricy? Yes. But their oxtail was very good. The curried goat was OK. The only thing is that upon entering the establishment, it seems dark and not welcoming. The food is uncovered, and if you get there at a bad time, it might look dry and unpresentable. The customer service sucks. They work as if they're doing you a favor. I asked the girl if that's the only rice they had because there was barely anything left and the attitude she gave me. No I DONT WANT THAT. GIVE ME THE RICE IN THE BACK for my $22 a plate. I bought 5 food so I deserve better service. Thanks.

I decided to come here and support as I had not been here in over a year. I ordered rice n peas, jerk chicken and cabbage today. The rice was hard and not fresh at all. The chicken didn't have any flavor. The best thing was the fried banana and the tropic rhythm. The tables weren't clean and the one I sat as was actually dusty, so I know things had not been wiped down in a long time. I will stick with my original spot on Bloomfield Ave in Montclair.

Flavor: I ordered a small Jerk chicken with rice and mac & cheese. The food was delicious, and the meat was moist. I recommend the spicy Jerk sauce to put on top. (I found the oxtail gravy on my rice a bit too salty). Rice and beans was a favorite. Mac was ok.
Establishment: Leaves little to be desired, wouldn't recommend as eat in, just take out. I was turned off initially that majority of the food is left open to the air and un supervised when the store isn't busy. Plus, the front door was wide open.
Overall food was flavorful and priced well. I will be back to try other items.

Can't really give this place a solid review. My significant other and I were in the area, and decided to walk in. The vibe wasn't there, well, no one as a matter of fact was there. I'm not sure if it wasn't the peak hour of the day for the establishment. Yet, this isn't a good sign for a restaurant. We decided to not stay, and we went to a different spot.
