I'm giving 3 stars for the waitress, not the food. I always wanted to come here, and I finally did because I was in the area. So I ordered for takeout. The young Hispanic waitress allowed me to sit at a table while I waited for my food, and she even got my a drink of ice water while I waited. I was so surprised at that because something so small made me happy.Anyway, I ordered some type of bourbon chicken and chicken wontons because they were out of fish croquettes, which I really wanted. The food wasn't it. The bourbon chicken was TOO SWEET .. I know it's supposed to be a little bit sweet, but it was too much.. it came with chicken, broccoli, peppers, and mushrooms on white rice.. and the winning were good, but they forgot my dipping sauce... for just those 1 items, I paid $34.90.. I don't think this was worth it, but I will say.. the music was poppin, though.Oh BTW they need to see your ID at the door no matter what, and security might pat you down.. it is in e.o after all..
Food is good however; they have changed the portions of the egg roll they give you. It went from a whole egg roll cut in a half to mini cuts of the egg roll on your plate. I also ordered chicken tenders and 4 came out on my plate with the minimal of fries. If I’m paying $18 for a plate; it should be more than 4 tenders. Maybe 5-6 and more fries. The hookah also burns out extremely fast for $35; $25 refill. After 15-20 mins; it’s burnt out. That’s a gimmick. Geesh but other than that, the food is good and the drinks are good. Good environment and vibes!

We ordered the ribs, deviled eggs, boudin balls. Shrimp po boy, that's the jam, fish dip, and a bottle of my favorite wine, Whitehaven savignon blanc. To say the lease very thing was great, down to the atmosphere and service from David. Will definitely return and highly recommended.

I booked a reservation here for my BF 41st bday. I have been to this establishment a couple of times before this. Despite being located in the hood, this place has good food, cool ambiance, and a good selection of drinks options. But this experience was by far the worst for me. The manager on duty was disgusting and rude to me and my guest, and yelled at our server. Who would want to work for her? It's funny how business when they start to do somewhat well and have success they forget that it's the people who support their businesses is why they all have jobs in the first place. I understand that my reservation was for 2 hours. However, after that me and my guess wanted to stay and I asked could we stay. I was told as long as we purchased 2-3 bottles we could remain. After playing I was told we could not stay as I invited additional guests, and it does not work like that. Mind you, the place was not crowded at all. I felt discriminated against again, and the manager abused her power just because she could. It was no reason for the manager to bring all that disgusting rude energy towards me and my guest after spending $1000. Then, when you dont support businesses in your neighborhood, folks wonder why. A big part is because they lack good customer service in most urban areas and dont know how to treat and speak to folks. When the manager returned to us after yelling at our server, she said she could only do 12ppl max. And I had 11ppl already inside and 3 more ppl waiting to get in who was denied entry. So we ultimately ended up having to leave and could not continue our celebration since my guest was denied entry.
Great food. Drinks were excellent!! Overall a good vibe.

Arrived early for the scheduled reservation and was seated. Ordered drinks and our food. Appetizers were served and pretty good. After over an hour, being told our food will be out shortly, and given free drinks for the wait our food never came which ruined the entire vibe. I’ll never revisit this establishment nor recommend it to anyone looking to thoroughly enjoy a night out
Went for Happy Hour with a co-worker! Food is deelish! Service is decent. I will say the food comes out in a reasonable time (15min) and the plated/presentation is great!!! The space/ambience and vibe are superb. They have a great DJ

Went there on Saturday during the drag brunch for a friend's birthday. Ambiance was nice and Tito our waiter was good.Had the beef mofonguitos and Philly cheesesteak rolls which were a bit salty. Ordered the Sobe steak medium rare but got it well done. Wasn't too happy about that since I was hungry and they close the kitchen down after 4pm and they don't start up again until 5:30 pm but to their credit the steak was well seasoned and that yellow rice was insanely well seasoned and flavorful.

Parking is annoying especially if you come after 10pm… I will say they have gotten so much better with everything! I love the atmosphere and even the aesthetics of the place. The specialty drinks are good so are the wings.. my friends enjoyed their cheesesteak eggrolls…. The nachos are alright.. I would say to use actual shredded cheese and melt it instead of using nacho cheese (yuck).. overall great vibes. Absolutely love whenever the dj is there, he plays great music! Fun vibes.. would recommend..
One of my girlfriends and I got together and got happy hour at this location. When we arrived I found parking on the street nearby. We walked in and were greeted. We sat at the bar and were served by Brian and he was great. I got the happy hour long island and my friend got the pina colada. My drink was very good. My friend enjoyed her drink as well. The place was super cute and the bill was affordable. We definitely had a good experience.
My overall experience is I liked the atmosphere of the place. Although some of seat placements were a little tight. The food was very cold though when it received it. I didn't want to complain though and wait longer.
Parking: You may be able to park in the walgreens lot or try and find something on the street.
