This is my second time purchasing Haitian patties and bread for this bakery, and both the food and service were great. I’m originally from Brooklyn and moved to NJ, despite living a little ways away from Your Daily Barguette, I don’t mind the trip. The owner is very sweet and pleasant, very friendly and approachable. Would highly recommend. It’s nice to good product and nice service from a Haitian business.
This place has been my to go spot when picking up patties for party’s, gatherings, etc. Their patties aren’t big and square like the typical Haitian patties; it’s more rectangular and portion controlled. My only thing is - is the pickup for phone orders. You can call and place an order but expect to wait a bit when you arrive. In my opinion it’s pointless to even call for the order but the patties are tasty so it’s worth it for me.
The ladies that work here are your typical Haitian “Manmi”s…ready to feed you delicious food, joke with you and will reprimand you if needed. My wife and I went in to pick up some pate kode but they were sold out. After apologizing profusely they begged us to wait while they whipped up a fresh batch…the wait was worth it. The patties were stuffed full, perfectly cooked, and delicious!!
