I eat out all over the country on business, and this is probably the best restaurant I've ever been to. The business lunch specials are beyond a great deal. Atmosphere. Service. Attention to detail. Quality of food. Portions. Presentation. Top of the line. Fusilli, Salmon, and Caesar salad, were fantastic. Best bread I've ever had with olive oil blend. Drinks? The gin based one I'd recommend. Ice tea is prepared tableside. Park on level 2. Lot D

High end restaurant in luxury section of American Dream. Came towards the end of lunch ~2 pm. Sat more inside the restaurant because the area in the sun was very hot. The food was delicious, high price but high quality. Crispy calamari with tender squid, decent seafood risotto, which was their daily special. My cocktail was very delicious and very strong!! However our waiter was pretty abrasive and pushy. He was really tall, and kept insisting there was no rush but then obviously appearing upset when we hadn’t picked menu items. When our apps came, we didn’t order entrees right away so he took our menus assuming we didn’t want anything else. Probably wouldn’t have cared but this is a nice place not cheap so just wasn’t what I was expecting.

We enjoyed a delicious meal here. It felt like an indoor version of a cafe in Italy. Our waitress was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. My husband, who loves iced tea, said it was the best iced tea he'd ever had. That's saying a lot!

I was Floored and still in shock. There is actually a restaurant in a mall (not in Vegas) that is fantastic. though it looks like a Vegas restaurant, just not as many tablesFar better than expectedgets a good crowd - professionals, perhaps that is why next to saks. Highly recommend if you are nearonly neg which to me is not a negative, they ran out of almost all fish, the special and on the menu. I consider this more of a positive since the food is fresh - not pulled from the freezer

Nice spot! Food was really good, I had the Slamon with garlic mash and veggies ??! Mushroom pasta and mushroom/cheese stuffed Raviolis in a white wine mushroom sauce was delicious! Decor is dope inside, very grown and sexy look. Red seats throughout.

This was such a disappointment. I was a regular at the Bal Harbour location (I grew up there) and was so very excited to try the NJ location (actually 2 of us went to Bal Harbour regularly and were looking forward to this)… the experience was nothing like any of my experiences in Florida. The food, while quite good, was nothing special. There is no ambience to be had at a restaurant in a mall that makes no effort to disguise the fact that it is a restaurant in a mall. Lastly, the service - mistakes were made from start to finish, not to mention they assumed that two TEENAGE children could not read and then assumed a grown man was a child (they even brought his meal out with the children’s meals - he was so embarrassed he couldn’t bring himself to say anything). I felt very unwelcome here. I think that is what did us in - not one person made us feel welcome or even attempted to try. None of the usual banter, switched waiters 20 minutes in without a word and without the other waiter putting in our drink orders, time just slipped by as we sat hungry and thirsty in a restaurant. When we inquired as to why there was a delay we were told everyone came in at once and the kitchen was backed up. That just wasn’t true. We were sitting at the entrance staring at empty tables all around us, one other party arrived before us and another couple after us. Hmmm. I can see the kitchen - they were not hustling in any way. And why should I have to ask about the delay? Why aren’t you proactively letting me know? It felt like they did not want us there. I enjoy shopping, I tend to indulge in luxury items whenever I feel like it and I love great restaurants - all reasons I chose to go to American Dream mall to try Carpaccio. I am so disappointed. My friends laughed and said I should have known better. Luxury does not exist in NJ :(

3 - 3.5 starsWe were finishing up shopping in the D wing of the mall when my husband started to get hungry. Carpaccio was the closest (and seemed like only) restaurant nearby, so we decided to stop in. It was around 5:45-6pm on a Thursday night. No football games were at MetLife, so the mall and restaurants were pretty empty. We had 2 servers help us to our table and take my purse and shopping bags to place them in seats near us. It's a very dimly lit restaurant. We were sat next to the windows by interior of the mall which kind of helped my husband read the menu, but he ended up needing his phone light.Service started out strong. We had a few people taking care of us. The drinks were great. The bread comes out nice and warm, drizzled with herbs and olive oil. They have a large wine menu and a fair range of cocktails. My pappardelle lamb ragu was delicious. The pasta was a little too firm for my taste, but I enjoyed the dish. My husband said that his veal was overdone and he was disappointed in the entree. He also said that his second order of the same drink was made differently and tasted more bitter than his first. Our server told us the dessert options and then left us to decide what we wanted to do. He passed our table multiple times and for a while it seemed like he was hustling around, avoiding us. At one point, he passed our table quickly to speak with the other server's congregating in the back corner of the room.We finally got his attention for another glass of wine and the chocolate soufflé. I'm pretty sure they gave me a different type of wine for my 3rd glass, but it tasted alright and I didn't want to complain. The dessert was decent. I've had better fancy lava cakes elsewhere. Overall, there's too much inconsistency with the food, drinks and service for the price point. They are at the end of the luxury shopping wing. After spending $$$ shopping and then stopping into a restaurant with a similar flair, I expected better. Maybe I'm spoiled by places like Saddle River Inn and Oceanos which are consistently amazing service and food. Maybe this is really good for a mall restaurant, but I wouldn't come back to spend over $180 for what we received.

My experience at Carpaccio was outstanding. From the delectable carpaccio to the impressive wine selection, every aspect of the dining experience exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Carpaccio to anyone looking for a memorable culinary journey with exceptional wine pairings.
