Nice spot for some snacks! Clean with a food court right across.
Located in Court A Level 1 of American Dream mall, this H Mart is the cleanest and prettiest among the ones around the area. It is not as big as some of the other individual store locations, aisles and checkout lanes are thinner. The store is open all 365 days of the year.
They still got most of inventory of Korean groceries, vegetables, fruits, snacks, candies, kitchenware, small toys and all other things we see find usually in H Marts. They have the meat and seafood stations as well. The food court is separate, right in front of the entrance of store.
Lots of associates walk around the store to keep it clean and tidy. I went in to buy couple of drinks from the store. There were multiple checkout lanes open. Didn’t have to wait too long, was quick and easy.
Food is so bland or too sweet, not authentic at all. Music is blasting with cringy music to the point where you can’t enjoy yourself or hear yourself think. The pastries are old and stale and the ones that are meant to be warm aren’t. The market is well set up but the options are so limited. There are barely any fresh made street foods the typical H Mart offers which kind of takes away from the experience.
Gabriela shouldn’t work at check out as she is extremely rude and lacks customer service skills, came into the store 3/28/25 6:06pm for a rain poncho for a concert me and a friend was attending at MetLife, when inquiring about the price my friend didn't want it, so she proceed to snatch the product out of our hands and spoke negatively about my friend and I in Spanish as she assumed we didn’t understand the language… we eventually brought the product however this was a very nasty experience…if she continues to work at location she needs to be retrained for her role effective immediately.
The prices are so high.
The store is huge. I have so much fun looking at all of the different products, even tough I have no idea what most of them are.
Huge selection of snacks and drinks that you won't find anywhere else around here.
This is one of my favorite spots to get Asian stuff, i bought a hair shampoo and conditioner it's the best!
Although the store says that they close at 10pm, there is a sign outside that says “closed” around 9:45pm. I have worked in retail before and I understand the need to want to end the night on time and go home, but it is unfair if all you want to purchase is a bag of mandarins which are placed right by the register, and are still told no because they’re closed even though technically there’s 15 minutes left. I kindly asked the cashier if I can please just purchase 1 bag of mandarins and pointed at them since they were right by the register, and said that I wouldn’t walk around the store and immediately pay for them. I would’ve went straight to the register and still left before they technically closed, but was still told no by the cashiers at register 1 & 2. Not only was I turned away, but a couple of other people were also turned away. The other couple who were turned away even said “but it’s not 10 yet”, to which they still said no. Maybe update the closing times to 9:45 to reflect the actual times they’re closing.
Great place but I wouldn't recommend getting fruit here since nobody probably buys it from this location. Everything else is always on point.
Big asian market in The American Dream mall. Its like your in another country. Tried rice ball (sushi rice, 6/10), Milk Cream Castella (8/10), Kuluru Lychee drink (5/10), Soul Milk Cold Coffee (8/10).

Has melon-flavored stuff. 10/10.
A variety of noodle, fried chicken, Asian beer, and mochi doughnut options. Excellent options before a Jets game.
Getting in the parking lot is so confusing!
BBQ Chicken Inside the H Mart Food Court.
So my family and I ate at this location during the soft opening and so on to Grand Opening and few more times after. One of the best tasting Bbq I ever had. Then recently went back on Tuesday. My kids threw up the chicken while driving home. Me and my husband didn’t feel too well while driving home also. We couldn’t think nothing but bbq chicken that got the whole family sick. Me and husband discuss how the chicken didn’t taste the same. It had a foul smell to it. I couldn’t smell the same delicious chicken I had few weeks back to compare to Tuesday. H Mart needs to investigate the if any raw chicken was touched with cooked chicken. After this experience I will never eat Bbq chicken inside h mart food court!!! You guys just opened? How can you mess this up?
