El Rancho Buffet & Restaurant

Outrageous and UNHEARD OF!!!!! I called into this restaurant to place an order. I spoke in Spanish to the receptionist and gave her my order. I used one word in English during my order. I used the word "PORK". She understood "POLLO" (chicken). She confirmed the order repeating the work POLLO, so I said I wanted pork. She criticized me for speaking English & Spanish in the same conversation. I was surprised that she had never heard a Spanish speaking person speak "SPANGISH". (Combo of English and Spanish words in the same conversation) That is a very common thing to do. So she called me ridiculous and hung up the phone on me. So, since I was in the area I decided to stop by and complain to the owner about this nasty service. I entered the restaurant and was pleasantly greeted by the owners' daughter, whom I knew for many years. I proceeded to mention to her about the incident. To my surprise, she was the person on the phone. She jumped up and said, THAT WAS ME, with a nasty tone and attitude. She accused me of making fun of her and started screaming "get out of here", in Spanish. I was so surprise, after knowing her for so many years, it never crossed my mind that she would even talk to a customer in that tone and so disrespectful. Not even taking into consideration the customers in the restaurant who saw and heard her. It was an embarrassing moment for me. I have never been spoken to in that manner or tone of voice in public. She also threatened to call the police and asked one of her employees to tell me to get out now? Needless to say I will never set foot into this establishment and do not recommend anyone to go to this restaurant. I have since heard from others, and read other reviews, that she has asked other people to leave what she calls "HER HOUSE" . Some people, just do not have "CLASS".

Stay away from here!!! The food is terrible. I ordered the Sopa de Gallina(Chicken Soup), which was rotten. The soup tasted disgusting and made me gag, how could they serve something like this? Other items are also bad, like the pupusas, which are greasy and salty. I really don't know why people rate this place good, this is not authentic and the food is subpar. Just stay away from this place.

I just left the Place Horrible Service..the lights went out,we didn't even get our food and when we decided to leave and just pay for our sodas(2)we we're bombarded with the waitress and the owner 2 pay 4 the food or they were going 2 call the cops..on top off insultations and bad mouthing me....deff not coming back at all💯💯💯...worst customer service I've ever experienced..😡

This review is for the buffet and not the other items off the menu. We stopped here for lunch and opted for the buffet. It was very limited selection, extremely cheap items like beans and rice yet the buffet is $9 per person and to top it all off, a child's buffet price is the same as an adults. I don't know how they expect a 5 year old can consume the same amount of food an average adult can. The place was a rip off, the personnel at the front expected tip for self service. I will not return here.

Great place! The food is delicious, authentic, and always hot. The prices are reasonable, the buffet always has something good, and the staff is friendly; on top of having good waiting service.

Delicious Mexican and Tex Mex food with big portions at low prices. It's not a table service place but great for take out or casual dining in. I don't live nearby but want to stop here anytime I'm in this area for the food it's that good.

I dint liked it. For veggie people they don't have any options other than dishes made of cheese..

Excellent authentic Mexican cuisine. Service is great always aiming to please. We eat in and pick up and the prices are great and the food fabulous!!
