Really enjoyed everything we ordered. The pounded pork chop was the standout. Super crispy even as takeout and somehow still crispy the next day, which almost never happens. Portions were generous and everything tasted fresh and well made. The chicken parmigiana and linguine carbonara were both excellent too. Definitely one of the better Italian takeout spots in the area.
I have been to Roberto’s 100 times or more, every time the food was excellent. There is no better place anywhere for Italian seafood. I’ll let you in on a little secret, I was a bus boy there in the summer of 1975/6. The kitchen is spotless the food is beyond fresh and Bobby is better than his dad Chickie the original cook (thought that would be impossible)! Since Chickie gave me a job in high school, I’ve been fortunate to travel around the world, I got married in Italy...
The food is excellent but noticed their prices went up dramatically, for instance the Roberto's Salad was $20 now it's $24. Inflation has come down to almost 3%, why the price increases? It should be listed as a $$$ not $$ now.
