I tried Deserio's on 2 occasions while visiting Edison on business and I very much enjoyed it both times. Between both visits, I tried their cheese tortellini and stuffed rigatoni with alfredo sauce, the stromboli and a veal parmigiana sandwich. The pastas are what you would expect from a lunch spot - not mind blowing, but pretty good and very good value for the amount they give you. They were among the better lunch pastas I've had for sure.
Ceasar salad here was my to go option but last week i got it again after 3 months, the price was 50% more than what it was in Dec 2021, from ~$10 to $15!!! And the quality was definitely worse, the dressing was less than usual and the chicken was bad, not fresh. Disappointed.
First time I came to this place for lunch was yesterday, they have so much variety, from a bunch of different pizza slices, pasta, calzones, stromboli etc... I've only tried the slices and their bread twist (not really sure what they're called) but the food was excellent, but what really got me was the fact the staff goes above and beyond being nice, when the man who rung me up took my card, he called me by my name which is something that really doesn't happen often...
