“I would give it a 5 star if the food was bomb but it is good. I am vegan so only judging on that and thus far tried their vegan menu and it is not disappointing. Finally, a place where the drinks 🍹 taste good and proportioned well. I would recommend this place but the only thing on weekdays they run out of stuff which is ok but, call and make sure. I like this place so I will keep coming back…and the service is good.“

“Creepy Uncle Dave here. Today I went to the Tex Mex Deli in Edison. The food was amazing! I tried a burrito that was out of this world. Apparently this was a new entry to their already sprawling menu. My boss once told me that if I never step out of my comfort zone and try something new I will never taste success. At the time I was pretty sure the only success I was going to taste was the sweat from my forehead seeing as he wanted me to dig a 200 foot trench by hand. Anyway, this was a shredded chicken burrito stuffed to the hilt with chicken, rice and beans, then smothered with MOLE, MOLE, MOLE sauce. Sorry, if you know you know. My coworker had the birria tacos that looked equally amazing. They must have been good seeing as he didn’t even offer a taste. This isn’t a white tablecloth establishment but the food definitely has potential. I’m sold! I’m definitely coming back and I think you should check this place out too. Tell them I sent ya!

“The food here is great!! I got the chicken Shwarma with a Jerusalem plate with the parsley salad and chickpea mix along with Hummus. So so good! I've been meaning to give this place a shot but never had time. So glad I did. Will definitely be ordering again and again. Dining room isn't too fancy but don't be fooled the food is great(that's what counts anyway). Also the cashier (I assume he is a manager?) He was super helpful and patient. Definitely a big fan now.“

Everything from their pasta dishes, pizza, freshly made salads and sandwiches are amazing. All of the food is fairly priced and its very convenient. “This was my first time at Anthony's coal fried pizza 🍕 and it did not disappoint. The place feels like a good upscale kind of dining experience with good service and plenty of seating available. They have a few beers on tap and have a wide selection of cocktails too. The pizza and garlic knots were delicious. Try the square margherita one if you like that kind of pizza and you will not be disappointed. They also have some good desserts, we liked the chocolate cake.“

“I hosted my friend’s 50th birthday here last week and it was great! Mike the owner was super accommodating and made sure everything was set up when we arrived. The staff was amazing and even with the multiple checks we had with people sitting all over the place, they still got everything right!!!! “I had a party of 10, for dinner and our server was Dawn. She was excellent in ever aspect! She was friendly, helpful and all of our food came out perfect and at the same time!! “Happy Lamb is always one of my go-to hotpot places when I’m in Edison. The service is usually fast and the staff has always been helpful and pleasant. If you happen to come by one a busy night there can be a long wait time, this is normal for any restaurant and despite the wait time, once you’re seated things move fast and food is brought out in an appropriate amount of time. My only point of criticism would be that if your table orders too many plates of sliced meat at once you may not receive some of the orders. Not a big deal as you can always order more at no additional cost as it’s AYCE.“

“First of all this place is for Authentic Chinese food. If you just need some chicken broccoli go somewhere else. Now we have that clarified let me say that this place is the Best Chinese food in the Edison area.
If you are watching some Uncle Roger weejio and wonder what the “wok hey” tastes like, you should come here. Of course soup don’t contain wok hey so please order the right stuff. For those who can handle internal organs, the stir fried liver and kidney is spectacular. If you have a more conservative palette then go for the stir fried beef and peppers.
This brings me to the only downside of this amazing restaurant. The owner is the master of wok hey but not so much the line cooks. So if this is your first time there and you are looking for some wok hey just kindly as the front or call ahead and confirm if the owner is working in the kitchen today.
Of course the best restaurant can’t just be good at one thing. Their soups and cold dishes are amazing as well. And the best part is, you don’t need the owner to be there. For non stir fried dishes I recommend the stewed roasted duck. Rather pricey at around 40 bucks but it’s definitely worth it. It’s even better when you take it home and let all the ingredients soak in that amazing broth overnight.
P.s please don’t bother the owner for take out requests. No wok hey gonna last in a takeout container.“

“First time trying this place and they did not disappoint! Ordered The beef Birria tacos, they were so flavorful and cooked perfectly. The consomé tastes very authentic! My only complaint was the size of the tacos they were a little smaller than I thought they would be, although they can fill you up. I ended my visit with the street corn which was also a hit. With that said, the crispy Brussels sprouts, OH-EM-GEE. Hear me out. They were the best thing I think I've eaten...in well, ever. It wasn't just the whole Brussels sprout itself, it was mostly the outer skins that was coated in seasonings, oil, and crispy. They were SO GOOD!

I definitely recommend the French Onion soup as well, we had that twice. 😋“
