“Three of us had a wonderful dine-in experience at Koy Grill Marlboro/Morganville enjoying authentic Turkish/Mediterranean flavors and attentive service. From the moment we opened the door at 8:30 pm on a Sunday evening, we were greeted by a hostess who genuinely welcomed us to the restaurant. When we were seated, a pretty glass bottle of cold water was brought to our table, along with seasoned fresh/homemade Turkish bread and olive tapenade. The dinnerware and utensils were clean and tightly wrapped in napkin. Waiter and hostess (Ali and Olivia) introduced themselves. New to restaurant, I was given ample time to review menu. Both Ali (in training) and Olivia were very patient with my many menu questions. Needless to say, Ali and Olivia were spot on. We ordered multiple appetizers - shepherd salad, hummus + pita, crispy feta in phyllo rolls, and lentil soup. For dinner we had chicken shish, lamb adana, and lamb gyro + pita that I opted to top with grilled mushrooms and hot pepper. The online photos did not do the dishes any justice. I should have taken my camera out to share how plentiful the dishes were when served and how perfectly grilled the meats were, too! The food had delicious seasoning - that did not repeat afterwards. We took leftovers home and will enjoy lunch the next day. We each had desserts, too, that were served in glassware. One pistachio/gelato and two hazelnut/chocolate flute - both as pictured on menu. We were offered to take glassware home with us afterwards, but forgot to take with us while we focused on remembering to take our bagged leftovers. All in all, it was a truly enjoyable, unplanned Sunday evening dinner. Aside from the freshly cooked delicious food and desserts, it was one of the most pleasant interactions with restaurant staff that I can remember in a long time. “We had an amazing meal a few weeks ago at Luca’s! We were greeted and seated and waited on promptly. We brought our own wine in which they had no problem opening for us. The food was out of this world. Their meatball appetizer is everything you’ve heard and then some. Incredible sauce, bread service, and our meals were excellent. My partner had the octopus for an appetizer and said it was incredible. Both of our meals were amazing and served timely and piping hot. I had the chicken marsala with mushroom risotto, delicious! And he had the veal saltimbocca. The service was prompt, pleasant and just perfect, and the atmosphere is lovely. I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“I took my fiance here this past weekend and we had a great time. We got to pick which vegetables, meats, tofu we liked, which were all fresh. And then we pick the broth and pay. The Mala Tang in the end was delicious. The broth was very flavorful and aromatic and the meats, vegetables and tofu tasted superb!“

We had a hard time finishing one sentence of our conversation without being asked how things were or if we wanted more coffee. I'm serious, no fewer than 6 people visited our table. Our waitress, Marissa, was personable and helpful; she was taking care of us very well. The 1-star for atmosphere was because the OWNER came to our table and asked if we wanted more coffee. I declined, but my friend accepted. I swear she did this just to make him go away as Marissa had offered us coffee moments before and she'd declined. THEN WE OVERHEAR the manager giving Marissa a hard time because we ACCEPTED COFFEE. His assumption was that she had not been attending to us instead of understanding that women know that the male ego has a hard time with the word NO. Not only should management not be giving a good waitress a hard time, they certainly should not do it where customers can hear. Gross!“

“This place is truly something special. It’s an upscale Mexican/Tex-Mex experience that feels incredibly elevated and intentionally designed from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is dark, mysterious, and absolutely beautiful…every detail feels curated to create a one-of-a-kind vibe.

The cocktails are spectacular. You can tell each drink is crafted with real expertise and attention to detail, not just in flavor, but in presentation and experience. Everything works together, from the fire and smoke to the sparklers, creating such an exciting and immersive moment with every cocktail. I had a mezcal drink that was honestly the best I’ve ever had.

We started with chips, guacamole, and three different salsas, all of which paired perfectly together and complemented the margaritas so well. We also had the chicken tinga tostada, which was loaded and full of flavor. Definitely a standout appetizer.

For dinner, I had the lobster paella risotto and it was incredibly creamy and delicious. I especially appreciated that it focused on lobster and not other seafood elements as I have allergies, which worked perfectly for me. Truly a five-star dish. My boyfriend ordered the chef’s favorite chicken dish and couldn’t even finish it because of how generous the portion was…the chicken was cooked perfectly.

The portions overall are great for the price. You might expect smaller servings because of how upscale it is, but that’s not the case at all.

The sangria (both red and white) was also amazing! Not overly sweet, just perfectly balanced and refreshing. It genuinely felt like summer in a glass.

What made the experience even more special was the attention to detail in hospitality. It was my birthday, and they gave me a sweet birthday card when I arrived and ended the night with a candle to make a wish. Such a thoughtful touch 🩵😭

Before leaving, we walked around to take in the entire space, and it was so cool to see how different each area felt. One side is more intimate and quiet, perfect for smaller tables, while the other is more energetic and designed for larger groups. Even the bar is a whole experience on its own, with flame elements that add to the atmosphere.

We will absolutely be back for another special occasion, and next time hopefully with friends. I can’t wait to try more of their cocktails.

I’d also be remiss if I didn’t mention the service… our server was excellent, and although I do not remember his name, he had such knowledge and expertise of the menu that his suggestions and pairings were spot on. As well as the rest of the wait staff and buster’s collectively working together to make sure we had an upscale dining experience. It felt wonderful to be truly attended to.

We discovered this hidden gem when hunting for a unique and well-reviewed dining experience near to home. The atmosphere is lovely, the food is really amazing, and the service is excellent.

We got numerous items to sample, and I can certainly state that each one was flavorful and well worth it. Our server, Fatih, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and quite helpful with recommendations. Thank you, Fatih, for your guidance! I enjoyed the branzini, mixed grill, and lamb pie, and the kunefe with Turkish tea was the ideal dessert.

They have live music on Saturdays, so bookings are advised. Parking is accessible on the site, making your visit even more convenient.
