“We went here for dinner on a Saturday evening. Wait time was reasonable, around 20 minutes. Ambience was good. They offered good Jain menu choices. We ordered medu vada, paper roast, cheese dosa, chocolate dosa and royal falooda. Food was great and not too spicy. Service was prompt and efficient. Our waiter, Shantha, ensured that we were well taken care of. Overall a very pleasant experience!“
“Best South Indian vegetarian restaurant.The food quality is excellent. The service is impeccable and super fast. The staff are very efficient and very friendly. We ordered filter coffee, buttermilk, medu vada and ghee roast masala dosa. Every single item was amazing. drove all the way from Massachusetts to experience the awesome food at Saravanaa Bhavan in Edison, NJ. Management/Owners kindly consider opening outlets in Massachusetts.“
“I arrived after 10:15 p.m., but they were still open, and the food was excellent—perfectly prepared kadai chicken and roti blended really well together. “We had a great time eating. Food was delicious. Every dish is a delight. Ambience is welcoming. The hostess Priya was friendly and accomplished in many ways. Spoke many languages as an added bonus. I will go there again. The other gentleman was knowledgeable and accommodating. It was a truly great pleasure being served at Vasanth Bhavan.Vegetarian options: Curry rices were nice“
“Love the food choices here, they are healthy, unique and very flavorful. We shared 2 things from the Happy Hour Bites Menu: 1. Street Tacos and 2. Not Your Mama's Meatloaf Sliders plus a Sourdough Margherita Pizza. All very yummy!! We followed with a Blueberry Crumble Sundae which was a great choice!!“

“Hi me & my wife stopped in & we had the best experience the best burritos it was better than chipotle & Moe’s with many varieties to choose from meats & sauces the burritos were big & full of goodness everything was fresh great customer service we had the pleasure of meeting the owner he was such a great guy he was so welcoming & he actually work he waited on us 10’s across the board do me a favor & get you some love chips so good you’ll be addicted I wish we had a location in Buffalo Ny we will definitely be back soon thanks again“
“While visiting Iselin on a very nice day, we came across the place with patio seating. We loved the afternoon breeze and decided sto spend some time in the patio with typical Bombay food likechat. We were not disappointed, they were very spicy and authentic. We had pistachio and mango flavored ice cream, that was second to none. Price is quite reasonable and service was no complaints. They are veg. I recommend a trip here.“

“PROs - hidden gem , homely food , serviceCONs- location , limited menu itemsI rarely give a 5 star . We were near Marlboro area and were craving for some vegetarian food . Saw Google and decided to visit this restaurant . At first , we kinda were joking around looking at the restaurant as there were no customers . Location was a bit wierd. .. we went in and asked if there was food and the Indian lady came and was kind of shocked to see 12 of us coming in . She said she will start cooking then and will take time .We almost wanted to leave the place because we weren’t confident of how fast they will prepare.. to all our surprise , she was able to cook food quickly and the food was deliciousssssssssss.. its almost like our mom cooking at home . We had unlimited thali.she brought us dolls , samosa , kichadi , rotis , undhiyiu, potato bhaji, gulab jamun, chaas etc. all my friends were happy and had a fantastic meal . She said to call her next time before coming , so she can prepare all food :) even though it was a slow start , we were so happy with the food .It’s truly a hidden gem . Both owners were sweet and the service was exceptional.“
“Best kathiyavadi thaali. I dont think I’ve had a better kathiyavadi thaali before. This is my go to spot for some really good kathiyavadi vegetarian food. Unlimited refills and the garlic chutny on the side is so so good. They also replace bajara no rotlo with rotli if you ask them. Bengan bharthu and sev tomato is my all time favorite!! There are some places you have to go every so often, and for me this is it!! If you like kathiyavadi food, you must go here!! Service is A+“
