“This place is truly something special. It’s an upscale Mexican/Tex-Mex experience that feels incredibly elevated and intentionally designed from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is dark, mysterious, and absolutely beautiful…every detail feels curated to create a one-of-a-kind vibe.

The cocktails are spectacular. You can tell each drink is crafted with real expertise and attention to detail, not just in flavor, but in presentation and experience. Everything works together, from the fire and smoke to the sparklers, creating such an exciting and immersive moment with every cocktail. I had a mezcal drink that was honestly the best I’ve ever had.

We started with chips, guacamole, and three different salsas, all of which paired perfectly together and complemented the margaritas so well. We also had the chicken tinga tostada, which was loaded and full of flavor. Definitely a standout appetizer.

For dinner, I had the lobster paella risotto and it was incredibly creamy and delicious. I especially appreciated that it focused on lobster and not other seafood elements as I have allergies, which worked perfectly for me. Truly a five-star dish. My boyfriend ordered the chef’s favorite chicken dish and couldn’t even finish it because of how generous the portion was…the chicken was cooked perfectly.

The portions overall are great for the price. You might expect smaller servings because of how upscale it is, but that’s not the case at all.

The sangria (both red and white) was also amazing! Not overly sweet, just perfectly balanced and refreshing. It genuinely felt like summer in a glass.

What made the experience even more special was the attention to detail in hospitality. It was my birthday, and they gave me a sweet birthday card when I arrived and ended the night with a candle to make a wish. Such a thoughtful touch 🩵😭

Before leaving, we walked around to take in the entire space, and it was so cool to see how different each area felt. One side is more intimate and quiet, perfect for smaller tables, while the other is more energetic and designed for larger groups. Even the bar is a whole experience on its own, with flame elements that add to the atmosphere.

We will absolutely be back for another special occasion, and next time hopefully with friends. I can’t wait to try more of their cocktails.

I’d also be remiss if I didn’t mention the service… our server was excellent, and although I do not remember his name, he had such knowledge and expertise of the menu that his suggestions and pairings were spot on. As well as the rest of the wait staff and buster’s collectively working together to make sure we had an upscale dining experience. It felt wonderful to be truly attended to.

“First time trying The Halal Spot and we loved it! The food was super tasty, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff were friendly and made us feel really welcome. The place is clean and has a nice vibe too.

“Ordering pickup from El Mexicano is so GREAT! Starting with the AMAZING customer service when calling to order our food. The young lady answers very politely, understands our order and gets it right every-time! It is ready is a very timely manner. It is carefully packed, with salsas and chips. Most orders include a little salad, limes, and yummy chiles. We love the enchiladas verdes, pollo empanizado (breaded chicken cutlet). The arroz and fríjoles are DELICIOUS! The carnitas are so YUMMY too! Definitely recommend!“

“Was there today for the our first time and WOW. I had the lamb Gyro and my wife had the loaded Feta Fries. Both were so delicious. Very nice casual place to sit down and enjoy a Great Meal. I highly suggest the restaurant.“

“When I called up the owner of Old Bridge Pizza this morning, his name is James . I explained how I had a Facebook page called operation Old Bridge neighbors unite and how we were collecting food and helping families that are in need before I could even talk further and " he said how can we help". He immediately had no problem helping us out. Yet another example of businesses of Old Bridge really stepping up and helping everyone. And talking with James he explained to me on how he's helping other places. And then offered " in a couple of weeks and we can help again." “We recently started ordering from here after getting fed up with another local pizzeria. Why hadn't we ordered from here earlier?? I'm not sure, but Nicolo's will be our new go to place. We're currently making our way through their specialty pizza list and have yet to be disappointed.“

“I had a coupon from a food app for $10 off so I had a personal size pizza & iced tea for only $11.26. I'm a fat middle aged woman who likes her pizza and iced tea. There once was a time I wasn't fat or middle aged. The pizza was hot & cooked well. Sometimes when pizza is delivered it's not hot.“

“We had a nice time celebrating my son's surprise 21st birthday at Grillestone. Jose and staff were all very nice and easy to work with and they even helped pull off the surprise. Since it was a 21st Birthday, I wanted to keep it casual and wanted food that my son enjoys when hanhing out. Jose was accommodating and I ordered all different appetizers as the meal. We had plenty of food and it came out all night long as discussed just needed a little bread in between (lol) and we even had leftovers to take home as well. We had a variety of pizza, fried calamari, avacado toast, wings, mac & cheese, nachos, sliders & fries, quesadilla & Ceasar Salad, Great staff, food, drinks all night long. “I think that the bagels here are really my favorite bagels in all of NJ. The insides are thick and fluffy, while the outside is slightly crisp, just like a bagel should be. Usually I get a half dozen and an egg and cheese on a bagel to-go. They also have really nice flavored cream cheese.“
