Crab roe over rice was good but I wouldn’t say it was phenomenal. Maybe a 7.5/10. Personally, I would have like more roe and less rice. I’m thought the price was a bit high, but I guess I’m not aware of what the price of crab roe is…?
The Nanjing salted duck leg was not for me. I was not aware that it would be a cold dish and I really didn’t like it.

One of my friends recommended that we should check out Festival Plaza in Edison NJ where there are lots of shopping stores including H-mart supermarket. Before going there, we checked online for a good place to eat and this restaurant Xie Bao Crab House was one of them. Being seafood lovers, we loved to try different things and so glad we did. We ordered their well known dish Crab roe over noodle (you can select noodle or rice), Pork rinds in fish soup with crab roe and Crab roe & pork pan-fried buns. Their crab roe is deliciously seasoned with flavors mixed very well the noodle. My boys loved their fish soup with crab roe. I loved how every bite you can tasted the savory crab roe. They also have complimentary appetizers of pickled white radish, toasted peanuts and seasoned wood ear mushrooms. It’s a cozy environment with friendly staffs. Everything were so good. We would definitely come back when we visit the plaza again.

Went for the Crab House and it was a bit misleading. Most crab dishes are ‘crab roe’ rather than actual crab meat, which I was hoping for. Place was chill, no frills. Service was fine, a bit slower as it got busy.

If you love Shanghainese food and especially crab this place is wonderful and frankly their soup dumplings are way better than other places in Edison. Soup dumplings with crab were 50% off on Wed and the restaurant was empty in the evening. Thursday there’s 50% off pan fried crab buns. The crab noodles were wonderful, made me miss Shanghai, but the yellow croaker noodles with pickled veg is a skip.

I went to Crab Treasure with friends today, and everyone was full of praise. The crab roe rice and noodles were both incredibly delicious, with generous portions and rich flavors. The service was also very considerate. We’ll definitely be back!

I started to feel sick and nauseous less than an hour after eating. I felt dizzy and had diarrhea all day long. I don’t recommend it and there was no service. The whole meal process was just showing up when ordering and paying the bill. The rest of the time we were gathered together chatting, although I still gave I tipped 20% but I give this service a bad rating.
