My husband and I are huge fans of Vietnamese spring rolls and pho, and we've tried every Vietnamese restaurant here in Edison, NJ. Incredibly delicious dinner! My husband and I plan on visiting Vietnam later this year and wanted to give Vietnamese food a try. We looked up restaurants in the area and Lau came up. We came for dinner and had a fantastic meal. Our kind and patient waiter helped us pick a variety of traditional Vietnamese dishes to try. Every dish was so flavorful, fresh and comforting. I love a good local pho spot, but I am especially in love with their $10 Wednesday deal. I always build my own pho and do the brisket and rare steak. The tendons are either a hit or miss because I don’t like the big hard chunks. I usually drink the broth but today’s broth tasted more salty than usual. Portions are adequately sized, and I often have to get to go containers for my soup and noodles. If you pay in cash, you get an extra 5% off!
