Caramella's Italian Bistro

Came here for the first time with my husband. We wanted a sausage and pepper sandwich and Google brought us here. It was amazing and probably the best sub I have ever had we can't wait to go back with the rest of family. And the woman who took our order was so sweet.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I just ate at this adorable Italian bistro and it was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious — I ordered the cheesesteak with raw onions and a side of French fries, and everything was cooked perfectly. The cheesesteak was flavorful and fresh, and the fries were crispy and so good! The service was just as wonderful as the food. My waitress was so sweet, kind, and attentive. The service was fast, made me feel welcome too! The restaurant itself was super cute — beautifully decorated, very clean, and such a pretty atmosphere. You can tell they really care about the details. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!👍

Everything about Caramellas was perfect! The food, the service the atmosphere.. perfect! The clams casino were amazing as well as the stuffed mushrooms! And the bruschetta! Oh my goodness.. fabulous! Portions were perfect! You need to go!

Carmella’s is a diamond in the rough compared to the typical EHT joints, which are nasty, dirty places that Townshipian’s rave about and flock too (many of whom are neighbors to Carmella’s). However, the food here always surpasses expectations, just like the quality of the people who work there. If you can, stop in and eat, or order something for delivery, it will hit the spot and become your neighborhood go to. Pictured is the Carmella’s salad with chicken added.

I ordered the crispy chicken club. It was phenomenal. The chicken tasted fresh, and was seasoned well. I had so much sandwich I couldn’t finish. It came with fries.

My family and I have been going here for over 20 years since it was Gaspares and then Caramellas, the food and service has always been 10/10. We went there on Christmas Eve since the newest ownership take over and the food and service was terrible. I got the gnocchi and blush sauce, the gnocchi came out doughy, pale and left a horrible taste in your mouth and was served without the sauce even covering the pasta. I sent it back for just a plain penne pasta and blush sauce, which was very substandard and reminded me of a kids meal, the pasta Aldente and sauce flavorless and very runny. My dad got the veal Marsala and was not impressed, a meal he usually loves there. He got a slice of pizza directly after because he was still hungry, small portions, same prices. My son got veal parm which he usually loves, he said it was just ok this time, the veal was very thin and overcooked. The service; we received no refills of water, a second bread basket with no refill on marinara, I didn’t receive a fork with my new meal, no napkins and the waitress didn’t even come back to ask how the meals were, in fact my son had to go up to the counter to say I didn’t like my meal and I wanted something else because the waitress was no where to be found. We didn’t mind paying for the whole bill but after a terrible dish was sent out there was no consultation for the meal and we left paying for everything. Sadly, after all these years we won’t be back.

Authentic Fresh Homemade Italian at it’s finest! Don’t sleep on this one!

The Blackened chicken was the bomb! The chicken bruschetta panini with blackened chicken is my new favorite item! We also ordered 2 of the Friday lunch specials ( Flounder Francaise and Blackened Chicken Alfredo) which were absolutely fantastic!thank you Carmella’s!!! We will be back 👏👏

Just tried Caramella’s today for the first time. Easily one of the best pizza’s in the area. Every aspect of the pizza was solid(crust, cheese, sauce). I’d give it a 7 out of 10. Only reason not higher is it doesn’t have a “wow” factor.

But honestly, this is more than a solid pie for a local pizza place in the area and the prices are definitely honest with all plain size pies being less than $20.

With so many below average pizza places in our area, this is a must try.

*Hopefully my previous comment of a “wow factor” didn’t come off offensive. Was just trying to be a tough critic. To be fair, I don’t think there is a single pizza place in the area that makes a pizza here that has a wow factor. The pizza here is VERY good :)*

My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE GO TO place for nights when I'm not cooking!! Excellent food- no matter what we order, and I have picky eaters that order all different dishes and Caramella's NEVER disappoints!! Trust me!! Order take out or eat there, either way you will not be disappointed!!
