Maurizio’s Pizzeria Express

We ordered large pizza and waited 25 minutes outside and they don’t even give our orders. They don’t respect the costumers they don’t even care. Also guys be careful they charge extra money.

Best food my I've had in 15 years! The Sicilian pizza was unbelievable, i couldn't believe it. This place is perfect to a T. I decided to try the subs yesterday, I got a cheesesteak l, t, f/o and everything was cut & sliced perfectly to a T. All the places I go I'm always pulling big chunks of soggy lettuce out or long stringy onions. NOT HERE! I was throwing the tomatoes, the onions, the lettuce back on. Everything was blended & put together perfectly, it melted in my mouth. Best cheesesteak I've had in a life-time. There's love & passion in the food here, I'll be spreading the word to family & friends. This place is #1 in my book. I couldn't imagine what's in the dishes such as chicken Parm, That's next!

I ordered pizza for my son who got home after school and was hungry . And after trying to convincing him to get Primo down the street he picked Maurizio’s.
So here’s my experience:
First I was on hold for a long time since there is only one lady who takes orders and only 1 maybe 2 cooks which is fine.
When I got there pizza wasn’t ready so I waited few minutes inside.
The lady at the front who answers the phone and handles money and credit cards and sometimes spends time on her phone goes to check on my pizza and lifts it up w her hands!
Now for me that’s NOT OK !!
And I know many places now days struggle to find help. I wouldn’t mind my cooks who made the pizza checking on it and of course you hope they at least wash hands which is highly doubtful.
But not the lady that works at the front counter answering calls and handling cash.To me that’s gross and I regret getting the pizza and giving it to my kid.
I hate to say this , but I will never go back to Maurizios.
And I should have looked at their reviews before I ordered but I was in a rush so I didn’t.
Where’s the ZERO STARS BUTTON??

The best cheesesteak .They toast the roll,fresh lettuce, tomatoes and onions..You can actually taste the flavor of the cheese...Their pizza is fantastic. The guy at the register is very friendly and polite..The owner will go out of his way to please you.Highly recommend ordering in person at the EHT location.

Food and service is great! I order from there about 1x a week and have never had a bad meal, always excellent.
For the ppl who leave poor reviews, look at their other ones, they rate most places poorly. Some ppl you just can't please. This place, however, truly does deserve 5 stars.

Dinner was good driver awesome but the most important thing they forgot to give me was the BREAD. to dunk in my eggplant Parm dinner other then that the dinner was good

Maurizio’s EHT location offers takeout only, we usually grab paninis and pizzas. My Dad is a big fan of the rice ball which is larger than a softball and cut in half to fit into the to-go container filled with marinara sauce. Usually we order the Grandma Pizza on their thin and crispy square crust. Grilled Chicken Paninis are huge on focaccia bread and come with a side of fries. Chicken Parm sub was decent. They also use Slice App for delivery but I usually pickup to avoid the extra fees

I can't find anything to complain about! It's a great neighborhood pizzeria, sub shop, and Italian eatery.

I've been a customer of Maurizios for many years...I recently ordered a pizza with mushrooms, extra crispy and it truly was THE BEST pizza of my entire life!! I've been around for long time and I don't give compliments without great justification but Maurizio's is THE best and compares to the finest pizza and Italian food in Little Italian NYC.
