The spicy tonkotsu ramen was very flavorful and delicious, and had a large portion of maybe the best chashu pork I’ve had. Our waiter was friendly and likable, but he was the only server there on a Friday night so the service was slow. They definitely could have benefited from having another server working with the number of tables they had full. I would go back for the food and hope the service was a little faster next time!

My husband and I have been repeat customers of Ramen Wakana for about 4 years now. This was our go-to sushi and ramen spot. It never missed! It was good every time. Except for tonight. We spent almost $90 on sushi and chasu buns and were highly disappointed. The fish didn’t taste as fresh as it usually does. We ordered crunchy roll that is typically spicy tuna with crunch on top and this roll was just tempura breading in a roll. The shrimp tempura roll used to be much bigger and come with avocado. What we got tonight was far from the usual. I’m not sure if there’s new ownership or a new chef, but our order tonight was not what we’re used to at all. We’re extremely unhappy and probably won’t order again from here.

We finally had an opportunity to stop in and try Ramen Wakana and boy am I glad we did. The ingredients were fresh, the Ramen broth flavorful and the Rainbow roll delicious. I, love spicy and truly enjoyed the chili paste our server gave me. We definitely will be back.

It is always a great time here as the food is made with all fresh ingredients, the service is excellent to the point where any accommodation possible is made and to top it all off the atmosphere is very cozy with traditional and booth seating. While there may be an issue or two pulling in as the main road does not have two way access it is a must stop shop for anyone traveling in the area!

We had such a relaxed and enjoyable experience. I came here with my partner and parents and we truly had such a great time. Andy was our server and he was so considerate and thoughtful, we will definitely be coming again if only to have him again to enjoy the awesome food!
