We flew into NJ for a few days and stayed across the street from the mall at Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton, Elizabeth,NJ. We ate twice at this Applebee's location and the food was great on both occasions. Our waiter was friendly and very helpful. Our entrée came at a reasonable time and was very tasteful. Overall the atmosphere was chill and gave a family friendly vibe. Our food was flavorful, had good portions and filling. This was a nice place to eat and end our family night out.

This review is specifically for the bowl that I always order whenever I visit this place. It’s my favorite Mexican shrimp bowl. Although I feel it’s a bit pricey for the quantity I get, I always make a special place for this dish. Perhaps I’m a little too partial to it. But it’s incredibly juicy and fresh, and you’ll feel full after just one bowl. If you’re visiting this place, you must try this dish and know what I mean.
