“I was recently in New Jersey for a concert and staying at a hotel for a few nights. My friend and I were looking for a quick bite to eat nearby. We decided to go to this place on a whim and it turned out to be one of the best decisions ever. The atmosphere was incredible. Everyone in there was so cool and the bartender was fantastic and very helpful. She recommended the Jack Daniels burger so we both went with it. When I tell you we both dreamed about this burger for our entire trip. We ended up going back to this place two more times. It was such a great local place with great people. “Stopped by the Applebee’s at Jersey Gardens Mall and tried the new holiday drinks — Tipsy Reindeer and Sleigh All Day with the extra shooters. Totally worth the price. Sleigh All Day is tequila-based and definitely stronger than the Tipsy Reindeer, so choose your fighter accordingly 🍹

We did the 2 for $25 and got the chicken parm and mozzarella sticks — both were surprisingly good. Portions were big enough that we couldn’t finish everything and had leftovers, which is always a win.

The servers were very attentive, but they were clearly slammed, so don’t expect to be seated immediately. Pro tip: give your name and number as soon as you get to the mall for a wait time estimate, or call ahead. The space is also a bit small, so it fills up fast.

Overall solid food, strong drinks, and good service — just plan around the wait.“
