La Kantina Mexican Restaurant & Lounge

Food is mid considering the price, music is loud. We had to raise our voice while ordering because the servers couldn't hear us. We found hair in 3 out of 9 dishes. Service is good but they're there basically hovering over you. The experience was okay.

We went for a friend’s birthday and I’ll admit we had a big table of about 8 people. There was another birthday table next to ours at the same time as well. The waitress kept forgetting to bring stuff that we asked for. The wait time was also pretty ridiculous as other people have mentioned. We were sat at 9 and didn’t get our entrees until after 11 due to the long wait and inconsistent service. She got someone’s order at our table wrong twice (due to music being so loud and her rushing to her other tables) and by the time they got their food almost 45min later, everyone else was done with their food. Speaking of the loud music, they had the DJ come out at about 10 and he started mixing like it was a full club but it was only us two birthday parties and another couple eating dinner inside lol, it was totally not a good vibe for a Friday dinner with friends… We also decided to use the valet service since we could not find parking close enough and we were fine paying a fee but we were not told that the fee would be $20 plus tip and it was no where mentioned at the valet spot or on the ticket online, only once we tried to give the valet a tip and he said we also need to pay the parking fee. Food was amazing but I doubt we’d ever come here again.

Worst service ever, waited over 30 minutes for one shot. Got charged a 20% gratuity, despite over an hour delay on food and having to personally go to the bar for my drinks. Atmosphere is nice, but this place is a scam. It’s not even real Mexican.

The few times I have been here to eat and ordered to go was awesome experience food wise but also in service from the moment I walk in I am greeted and attended to within seconds which is very nice to see now days!
Every single food order i have purchased turned out to be better than the previous food order as I like to switch up my order each time to try different things from this restaurant. Service ans atmosphere is calming. Clean and so we'll organized! All the employees are doing a superb, amazing job! I hope this restaurant NEVER goes away! Oh and their French fries are delicious which was a nice surprise! Tacos Al pastor is so good too!

I tried to place an order for 4 chicken tacos the woman with red hair told me it cost $95 I said no problem let me please talk to the manager she refused to get me one she went back to work and serviced everyone else never came back with a manager. Terrible service! Which is surprising because I usually come here and never had an issue

The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, and the waitress was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food was bland and lacked flavor.

Went for Mother’s Day, they had a pre fixed menu with great variety. Appetizers came out hot and delicious followed by the entre. Great Surf and Turf! Dessert we had churros! Great place!

We went here for Mother’s Day and was very pleased they had our table ready and the place is so big you don’t feel crowded. I loved that they offer vallet no need to drive around morris looking for parking. I went with my family including my toddler and the atmosphere was great for family settings and chill vibes. The ventilation is real good because they had hookah but it didn’t affect us. They were equipped with high chairs and coloring items for my children. I ordered an espresso martini and it was pretty good . My family also enjoyed their food and the churros on the dessert menu were to die for. Def recommend if you want to have good vibes with the family without it getting to crazy .

We had churrasco and birria tacos. Food was good. Service was amazing. We sat at the bar and Felipe Prieto was out waitor. He was attentive. Drinks were amazing. We would come here again!

0/10 experience! My friend and I waited over two hours for food. After waiting for over 40 mins, we had to ASK to be served! They took over an hour for drinks. We got there at 9 and didn’t eating until 11:00pm. Our bill just said $96 without showing everything that we ordered, we only order $20 meals and $15 drinks. It felt infuriating and incredibly. disrespectful. If you’re looking for quality service and food, think wisely before eating here.

We waited like 20 mins for somebody to take our order. Then when we order (tacos) we wait like 40 mins and then it’s cold like it’s been done for quite a while. Then for the drinks we waited like half an hour (mind you we were by the bar) should be fast. We see it ready but she needed to go get it she would go over there and see the drinks and not give it to us knowing we’ve been waiting. Eventually she gave to us and we order 3 more drinks in advance knowing because of the wait we had it was going to take time, an hour passed and we never received it. I complained to her about the costumer service and how she’s making us wait when our drink were already done, but nothing changed (that we’ve been here for like 3 hours and she’s only come to us twice) and when my cousin was telling her about her order, she leaves her talking alone. So not profesional, the place is nice, good vibes but if you come here I suggest to request somebody else to serve you. Worst costumer service I’ve ever had. This my first time complaining about this so I hope this helps because we ended up leaving because of this (and we didn’t want too)

We made a reservation and when we arrived we were told that because we made it on opentable and didnt call, they didn't confirm it. So they sat us at the bar while a table was ready. We waited 15 minutes for our drink and we said if they didn't seat us by the time we were done we'd leave. They sat us then forgot about us. We ended up leaving because after an hour it was clear our business was not wanted. Will not return again.

You will be impressed how much space they have inside compared to how it looks in the front. The decor was very nice. The food was good and large portions. The margaritas were delicious, but a little small. The staff were all super friendly.

We has vegetarian food and it was so good. The drinks were so good also the service was 5/5. It was my husbands birthday so I asked them if they can celebrate it and they did, it was so so good.
