The sides felt like they were sitting under a lamp - yuca fries and tostones were tough. The meat was not very juicy or flavorful despite being cooked at medium temperature. the sauces came in packets like the ketchup packets you get at a fast food restaurant - not something you would expect for th price they charge. Go somewhere else in the area - there are a lot of Colombian restaurants nearby!

Rancho Mateo has good food. The service was fair. The environment was great! Live music! However, the patio section, where our table was, needed some shadow or sunlight filter. It was hard to fully enjoy with the sun shining right on our faces.

I have visited this place several times and I have always liked the food, the atmosphere and the service. However, we had an uncomfortable experience. We went to celebrate my husband's birthday and, while waiting for our table for 15 people, we asked to sit at another table for a drink, but were denied even though there were more than 10 empty tables. The host Valentina tried to help us and seemed embarrassed, but “John León” simply refused without explanations or even...
