I went there yesterday for the first time because I was in the mood for Peruvian food and I have to say it was amazing. The portions are really big. The prices are reasonable. The service was incredible and it was delicious. I am definitely going back.
I’ve followed this place across 4 different locations. That’s not loyalty out of habit — that’s what happens when something is genuinely that good and nothing else comes close. I’ve been to the Paterson spots, I’ve done the rounds across the state, and nothing in New Jersey touches what they’re doing here. Most authentic Peruvian food in the state, full stop.

Without a doubt, this is the best pollo a la brasa in all of New Jersey.
I’ve tried many Peruvian restaurants, both near and far from this area, and none compare to how juicy, flavorful, and delicious La Caravana makes it.
