The Kalbi has a great, fun vibe for both a family gathering or a night out with friends. The owner was very nice and made a point to check in with our table regularly throughout the night. The staff were also great and quick to respond to our large party. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality KBBQ experience!

We come here almost weekly. Service is great. Food is awesome. Meat is top notch. Still not crowded so its easy to come and not have to wait. The pork combo or kalbi combo is perfect for the two of us and we eat a lot! Also naenmyun is excellent.

We came here for the 2nd time and the food and service was nothing short of amazing. If you’re looking for solid kbbq in the area with amazing food and service that will treat you like you’re the only ones in the building then this is the spot. The banchan, especially the several types of kimchi, was on point. Not to mention the banchan is never ending. The staff go out of their way to explain the cut of meat they are going to serve and what they’d recommend you dip it into. Having been to nearly all of the kbbq spots in ktown (NY), flushing, pal park and fort lee- the kalbi definitely ranks in top 5, if not top 3. The quality of meat is amazing for the price and the staff is constantly looking out for you. Whether you’re a kbbq novice or veteran, this place is both welcoming and delicious. Will absolutely come back again. Also special s/o to our attentive waiter 민고 and the rest of the staff. You guys are awesome :)

This place is amazing!!! I’ve been here 3 times already and I’ve always had such a great experience. The waitress and waiters are so kind and very helpful when asking for suggestions. They smile and interact with you even the bus boys are extremely friendly. But most of all the FOOD!!! Is unbelievably good . I’ve been to many Korean bbq restaurants but this one is so different. You get so many complementary sides you don’t even know where to start but everything is worth the try!! The meats are so fresh and delicious and the price point might seem a little bit much but it’s not with everything you get and the meats being so fresh totally worth a try! 10/10

The Kalbi is around 10 min-drive from the busier Fort Lee area. Parking is available.
Inside is dim, with blue lights from the metal wine display which separated 2 large dining areas.
Was treated to a family birthday here so didn’t get to look at the menu and prices.
Our table was covered with plates of meat to be cooked, sides/accompaniments.
Cooking was done by the staff - noted the meat were cooked thoroughly but they were tender. Dipped some in the salt/sauces, some were marinated so tasty already. Service was great- calm, attentive.
They dimmed the lights and played a festive version of the birthday song as they brought out the cake with sparkler candle (which I think they put on). Nice!

Was hoping for cuts rivaling Nubiani but was disappointed, ordered the prime ribeye, marinated beef rib and pork jowl. Not a single item was exceptional. I rate this 5.5 to Nubiani’s 9. Nubiani is a few dollars more and over the bridge but so worth the trip.

Unfortunately the more upscale interior is the only plus about this place. Meat quality wasn't great for the price I paid. The circulation is also terrible in the restaurant. Be prepared to stink afterwards and breathe in bad fumes the whole time. Service isn't good either, had to flag down servers as they didn't check on us. Ordered cold noodles at end which were bland. Feel like this was a waste of 250. Won't be returning!

This is such a hidden gem! The vibes the food! The service! 100/10!! Sooo good I came back twice in a week! The meat was so fresh and the server Songkyeongkeun was amazing!! He cooked the food to perfection showed us what pairs well together and was so personable!! He made the whole experience so wonder! Honestly just take my word for it and go!!!

I frequently visit this Korean barbecue restaurant, and it always impresses me. The food quality is consistently excellent, with a fantastic selection of marinated meats and fresh vegetables perfect for grilling. I always appreciate how flavorful everything is and how well the dishes are prepared. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure our dining experience is enjoyable from start to finish. The warm and inviting ambiance is ideal for gatherings with family and friends. Although the lighting is a bit dim, it creates a cozy atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying drinks alongside the meal. This place has truly become my go-to spot for Korean barbecue, and I highly recommend it to anyone craving authentic flavors and a wonderful dining experience!

Service was great food fantastic. We were really impressed by the cuts of meat, they don’t skimp on quality. Also it was our first time trying Korean BBQ and our host gave us some great tips and made the experience great and fun!
