Balthazar @ Englewood NJ-There was fly where the baked goods were so told the person but she replied that the baked goods come from behind. But the cannoli’s were where the fly was, so told her cannoli's were by the fly and she said there are none left in the back. So cannoli’s are ok with the fly?

I'm just five starring the whole thing. I've had the croissants and danishes from ready coffee. Best I ever had! Chocolate croissant incredible… Warm it up a little bit the chocolate is high-quality and delicious as are all the ingredients. I'm gonna have to make a trip to New Jersey is that good

Terrible service, meanest workers.

Stopped by on a Monday morning to start the day on a happy note. I mistakenly started ordering with a lady before another lady said she’s helping me. First Lady starts talking to the customer next to me about me as if I can’t hear. Pretty rude and unnecessary.

This is not your local cafe hangout. Come to think of it, I don't even think they sell coffees or any other beverage. There are no seats, no tables, and only a little bit of standing room for

But this is HEAVEN for all carb connoisseurs.

Most of the building seems to be dedicated to (1) on-site equipment and (2) a small storefront where goods are prettily displayed behind a glass wall. And then a teeny, tiny area where you stand in line and salivate as you await your turn. Trying to decide what to get is difficult, since you don't get to see what's actually available until you get to the front of the line, and then you have to make some quick decisions while the rest of the line waits and harrumphs behind you.

I've had a ton of their croissants (the regular was flaky and delicious, the almond tasted like millions of almonds died in the making of it, and the flan was just as if a plate of flan and croissant had a baby). The beloved kouign-amann is a croissant-like flaky pastry with a creme brûlée crackling top. The monkey bread is hopelessly moreish. Suffice it to say, I've been eating my way through Balthazar little by little, and nothing has disappointed.

If you're in the area and consider yourself a lover of bread or pastry, this is a must-visit. Parking is extremely limited, but there's a high turnover rate of cars since most people are leaving right after they purchase. Lines can be long, but move pretty quickly.

One of the worst caneles that I’ve ever had. It had soft shell with only a hint of crispness. Interior was a disaster. Flavor was balanced but somewhat artificial.

The best bakery in town, a truly satisfying place! The bread is not overly sweet and full of buttery flavor, so you feel happy just after taking a bite. In particular, the Pecan Sticky Bun is the best. The combination of chewy texture and fragrant pecans is perfect!

This has always been my favorite bakery until today. I have been buying pastries here for more than 10 years. I have never experienced rudeness of this level, even on a very busy holiday.
The store was practically empty, just me and my husband (an elderly Asian couple). The person at the counter, Christy (name on the receipt), was very impatient and very rude. She raised her voice at us when we took longer than a second to give her our order. She didn't understand what a mutligrain batard was (it's a regular menu item) and blamed us for confusing her. Finally, when I paid for my stuff and ask her for an extra bag, she scowled at me and yelled in a menacing way, "That's 75 cents extra!"
Completely unnecessary. The whole experience was so unpleasant and threatening. It will be a long time before ever come back. Yelling at your loyal, local regulars is never acceptable behavior.

I have always loved this brand NEW YORKER ❤️, this location does not disappoint on taste or quality. However some of the counter staff can use some customer experience training. Holidays have nothing to do with general civility..
