Take Out ONLY Berkery with WOW presentation. I specially liked beautiful Fig-Pomegranate Galettet(until Oct 8) There's no seating and no service... I just wish they had a café setup! Sometimes people line up. Sometimes people line up. There are a few parking spots in front of the store and along the street.

I used to love Balthazar bakery but I just had a croissant and a pain au chocolat that were pretty mediocre. The lamination left a lot to be desired and they were lacking in the buttery flakiness essential to a good croissant.

Balthazar is a true gem! They have the best canelé I’ve ever tasted—perfectly caramelized on the outside and soft on the inside. Their cookies are absolutely delightful, and the almond croissant is just heavenly 🙌🏻. Every bite feels like a treat. A must-visit for anyone who loves great pastries!

The register service I received from Christy Thursday made me feel horrible. Her energy was very curt and I tried to look past it. She rang me up for 2 coffees and pastries as directed by her peer. Christy was assisting the very sweet lady ,who if I am not mistaken is Filipino, and communicated with Christy what my order was. As I was about to walk out with my order she said “Are you taking two coffees? Can I see your receipt?”I only rang you up for one”. My receipt indeed had two coffees for my Mom and Dad. I wanted to share how good Balthazar is since they were visiting. However, I was thoroughly embarrassed by her comment. It made me feel as if I was stealing and trying to get away with something. I have come to Balthazar plenty times and Christy has always been less friendly than most ladies. This day she went too far which is why I rate the service 1 star. I would make it zero if I could.

Balthazar @ Englewood NJ-There was fly where the baked goods were so told the person but she replied that the baked goods come from behind. But the cannoli’s were where the fly was, so told her cannoli's were by the fly and she said there are none left in the back. So cannoli’s are ok with the fly?

I'm just five starring the whole thing. I've had the croissants and danishes from ready coffee. Best I ever had! Chocolate croissant incredible… Warm it up a little bit the chocolate is high-quality and delicious as are all the ingredients. I'm gonna have to make a trip to New Jersey is that good

Stopped by on a Monday morning to start the day on a happy note. I mistakenly started ordering with a lady before another lady said she’s helping me. First Lady starts talking to the customer next to me about me as if I can’t hear. Pretty rude and unnecessary.
