I have been a loyal customer of this bakery for many years, but what’s happening now is simply outrageous. I always knew this place was pricey, but at least the quality made it worth it. Regular grocery store bread is terrible, so I was willing to spend a little extra here. But these recent price hikes are beyond ridiculous. Six months ago, I paid $7 for a loaf — today it’s $10. SUPERB EXPERIENCE. The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable; they'll even give you pronunciation tips for the trickier items like the kouign-amann. It is actually pronounced 'queen-ah-mon' !!
