The new location is Englewood is beautiful! We went for our first visit and we're so pleasantly delighted with the new selection of foods & excellent service. Pictured is the Goodfellas Sushi Roll with spicy yellowtail and lemon. A must try! So fresh and delicious. The sushi pizza was a fun take on spicy tuna. My absolute favorite were the soup dumplings, they are made fresh to order, so be patient, as they take about 20 minutes. The best I've ever had! Steamed to perfection. I had the green tea but I wanna try the Lychee Martini next time as we will for sure be coming back.

Excellent food, great service. We dined on the Akai side of the restaurant.

Even though this is under new ownership, blue moon just doesn't seem to get any better. Yes, they redid the inside but it's still really the same place. The Mexican side has a full staff of inexperienced waiters and bartenders. There is no atmosphere because they don't talk to you and, it's sort of like being in a diner. The food is mediocre and the prices have gone up especially on drinks. We were charged an extra nine dollars for martini and $.50 just for a splash of seltzer in my vodka. Absolutely totally disappointing. The bathrooms are filthy and I really don't ever wanna go back there again The only thing I will say is that the sushi lounge area is nice and quiet but the sushi is just OK

Amazing experience! As a frequent traveler and visitor from out of town, you can always tell when a local place is good when a restaurant is packed by the locals. Service, food, and vibe were phenomenal. Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in months.

New owners are too lazy to run to the bank. Problem with cash everytime. Had me waiting over 5 minutes to grab two singles. Staff is weird. Girl at the front is the reason I’ll never return after 7 years of ordering every week.

Had not been there for a while since they remodeled it and the service and the food was really good for lunch yesterday.Created a keto type meal without the burrito in a bowl with shredded chicken onions, peppers, zucchini and other vegetables. Lots of flavor and used salsa, guacamole and sour cream to enhance it.REPapillon

Okay so ana was our server, she was easy on the eyes but she had a heavy accent that interferes with her confidence. We had the whole experience- Mexican and sushi and let me tell you the vegan chilli isn’t the same. It used to be super chunky and hearty pure vegetables but now it’s like tomato soap but the vegetables aren’t fully cooked - yes they were hard. The beef chilli was just a bowl of beef chunks not shredded beef or ground beef as anyone would affect no vegetables it was more a beef stew. The guacamole was good, doesn’t compete with rose Mexicano but many don’t anyways. I got the super spider roll and something was off but it was warm! The spicy tuna roll wasn’t even spicy.

I am currently sitting in the restaurant for 55 minutes. No hello, no water no menu. All out chaos. These people don’t know if they are coming or going. Save your money and your patience. Front staff was rude, wait staff soooooo overwhelmed and should all go to training. Worst decision was to be sold out to akai. Bring back the old blue moon management. There was never a problem here.

Everything was ok. Service was ok, food was ok, ambience was nice. There's 2 different sides-Mexican and Japanese but you could ask for the opposing menus if you'd like which is nice. We started off with the zucchini nachos which were ok, I loved the concept of more veggies but it lacked flavor. For my entree I ordered the baja chicken tacos which had nice flavor and the tortillas were pretty tasty on its own but it was lacking heat. The refried beans were good but the rice could've been better. The molten lava cake was tasty and rich, churros were ok.
