It was very disappointing today given that it was one of our favorite places for brunch. As soon as I walked in asking for a table, people that were already dinning in started screaming because they saw a cockroach. Obviously I left and changed plans with my family and friends.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!! I had high hopes going into this restaurant, but it was a huge disappointment from start to finish. I ordered the French toast, and what I got was a single, tiny piece of French toast—barely enough to call a meal. To make matters worse, they served it with a side of whipped cream and a single, measly strawberry sliced up. I specifically asked for strawberries with it, and that’s what they gave me? It felt like they were just trying to stretch out the portions to make it look like more than it was.

I left still hungry and completely dissatisfied, especially considering the prices were on the high side for what I received. The waitress was also completely inattentive, and it wasn’t even busy—there’s no excuse for that kind of service. The French toast itself wasn’t good, and the orange juice was bitter and undrinkable.

I thought I could salvage my meal by ordering a chocolate croissant, hoping for something better, but nope. I asked the waitress to heat it up, and when she brought it back, it was barely warm and had no chocolate in the middle. What kind of chocolate croissant doesn’t have chocolate in it?

Overall, this place is a total rip-off. The food is subpar, the portions are tiny, and the service is lackluster at best. Save your money and find somewhere else to eat—you’ll thank me later!!!!

This is a pescaterian place. My husband had the avocado toast and I had the almond French toast. Both dishes were very good.

The iced chai latte was very good but a little too much milk

For dessert, try the almondine

The atmosphere is always inviting yet elevated. The menu is curated with cultural and specialty dishes! I'm gluten-free but will sometimes break for their dessert croissants! And the staff are kind and genuinely attentive. My family and I always enjoy ourselves at Patisserie Florentine!

I was literally standing right there waiting to be served and an older gentleman comes right in and she takes him first. I cut in as he ordered and said i wanted an iced coffee. He apologized and she still took him first. Making no eye contact with me, and just really unproffesional and arrogant. (Braided 5.5 dark skin to be exact on who it was) never again will I come here.

Service is not good, staff a bit on the rude and condescending side. Pastries good. Overall I've recommended this place, but I sure wish they'd get the right help.

We recently dining at Patisserie and had a mixed experience. While the food quality was decent, with some dishes being tasty and well-prepared, there was a significant issue that detracted from the overall dining experience. Unfortunately, during our meal, we noticed a small cockroach on the table, which was a major hygiene concern and very off.

We ordered Benedict a La Florentine and egg whites Omelette Royale ok at best. What it stands out was the Caffe Late, but who can mixed up a coffee?? However, the sighting of the insect overshadowed any positive aspects of the meal and left me feeling uneasy about the cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant.

While I understand that isolated incidents can occur in any establishment, the presence of a cockroach on the table is a serious issue that should be addressed promptly to ensure the health and safety of customers. I hope that Patisserie Florentine takes immediate action to address this issue and improve their pest control measures to prevent such occurrences in the future.

I would recommend that the restaurant address this issue promptly to maintain the trust and satisfaction of their customers as is described in previous reviews making my reason to visit this place.

I chose this place because I was staying in the area for three nights and, as a big fan of French bakeries, I wanted to dine here with my family. While the food and variety of choices were amazing, and the pastries excellent, the service left much to be desired. The staff behind the cash registers seemed unhappy and appeared to dislike their job. We received dirty looks when we initially wanted to take our food to go but then decided to stay and eat inside. A friendlier attitude and smiles from the staff would greatly enhance the experience. It would be more welcoming if they hired a few outgoing and bubbly individuals. Despite the service, I highly recommend trying their food and pastries.
