We visited Four boys Ice Cream and had a conversation in line with a kind man. We knew for a fact the man in front of us paid $20 toward our ice c ream order. The lady behind us also confirmed she knew he paid for our order.
My boyfriend overheard an employee tell another worker to put it in the tip jar. He said to me that he was going to wait and see if they charged us. So when they did charge us he brought it up to staff, the girl acted as if she didn’t know what we were talking about and seemed visibly irritated.
I saw her move to the side, not knowing I could still see her face, she rolled her eyes at another staff and then shut the door hard on my boyfriend and said, “here’s your change,” handing it over without any explanation or acknowledgment.
What should have been a simple act of kindness was turned into how dirty the world can be sometimes. These girls and their parents should be ashamed of themselves. Please teach your staff some integrity

Order was incorrect, which is fine. I need to say something about how rude the dark haired girl with the white hair clip was (who was working tonight at the Englishtown location) The man in front of me had a miscommunication with this girl about his order. He was so calm & simply wanted to make sure he wasn’t charged for a strawberry ice cream. This girl slams down the 2 ice creams he got & raises her voice repeatedly at him 2x in a row saying, “DO YOU NEED LIDS??” He responds no & continued to make sure he wasn’t charged for the strawberry ice cream… Then she says “you want strawberry ice cream?” Girl, no…. Anyway, so awkward for everyone around. I was going to get involved, then it was over with. He looked upset eating ice cream with his wife in the car. & I couldn’t get over how outrageous she was (while working her customer service job). Ice cream is supposed to be a little joy in life. Please give people grace, it’s their first time living too..

The customer service was terrible, and the employees were too ignorant and made us wait for our drinks for 30 minutes, not to mention the fact that they asked if any of us ordered our food and continued to ignore us, and on the fact that I had to ask for my money back because of how poor and nasty the service was, and an immature employee mocked me and thought it was cute when she was not even acting as grown woman should be, honestly the worst service to go here

Out of 4 cones ordered, 2 were decent. Mother got a sugar cone with chocolate chip cookie dough, ice cream came without the sugar and without the cookie dough. The cone I got was covered in holes and I had ice cream leaking through all parts of the cone before it crumbled.
