Took my mom today, our first visit, for a Sunday afternoon lunch. Excellent all around. Warmly greeted at the door, attentive wait staff, and great food! Feels like you are really in someone's kitchen. Mom had the special - cup of soul (lentil) and 1/2 sandwich (egg salad). Don't have to say anything five stars from the kitchen to the service. Will be back at least three times since we found this gem. Which was two weeks ago. Only regret is wish we found sooner. Hint French toast out of this world
This unique restaurant is situated in a small suburban town where people know each other. The service was friendly and food hot and fresh. There were some unique menu items that just work together like Fruity Pebbles on pancakes. The coffee was delicious. The meat and eggs were fresh. No doubt we will be back again for this hometown experience.
