Went to Blooming Grove Inn today. Everything was delicious. French onion soup is perfectly made. Our cocktails were very good. I had fish and chips which were excellent right down to the coleslaw. Their coleslaw is different. Very tasty. Finished up with yummy banana cream pie. The bar and restaurant are very clean and attractive. Owner was very welcoming and hospitable. We will definitely return soon.
We were very fortunate in that we picked a night that was hot and rainy to go to the Booming Grove Inn. If it had been a weekend, the restaurant would have been exploding with people inside and out. Our evening was peaceful, relaxing and totally enjoyable. The olives, oil and bread service was a surprise, made better with grated Parmesan cheese.
