“My daughter has Celiac disease and can't eat gluten. Jay's has a FANTASTIC menu for those with this problem! His gf pretzel rolls are to die for and the regular pretzel rolls are delicious too! They cook all of the gf food in a separate fryer. We love the gf chicken fingers too. Since all of the gf food has to go through a single cook, it's best to order that before hand because it might take a few extra minutes during busy times. Jay also gives back to the community with donations towards heating oil for those in need during Christmas times. It's an order up window only but there is an outside covered area where you can eat. They also have gf ice cream sandwiches and cakes. It's so nice to have a place that offers delicious fast food that is safe for all members of the family! “I was interested in trying a traditional Philadelphia Cheesesteak....they serve exactly what I was looking for. The meat was good the cheese to meat portion was good, and all melted in there..my only complaint was the serving size was way to big...a half of sandwich was all I could eat..being so large, the price like the sandwich was 2 x too high.. They serve bottled Birch Root beer, which is excellent.“

The owner is great, and so is everyone that works there.Customer service is pretty spectacular, along side their hoagies! The ingredients are SUPER fresh and high quality. They actually cook their own Roast Beef.I always rotate my selections between the Italian and The Big Beef. If you're trying to save your arteries a little bit from fried food, then you easily grab a side of their macaroni salad or potato salad!Also, see if they have any crumb cake in stock! “I've been going here since they opened. All through the 80's I ordered at least three to four times a week from here for my lunches and dinners while at work. The pizza steaks are the best. Moved away from Levittown in 05 but I do stop by once sometimes twice a year. “
“FD Subs has been at this location in Ewing Plaza Shopping Strip for a few decades with different owners and levels of satisfaction. When I stopped in this week for late lunch of a turkey/swiss sub, the wall menu looked like it had been hung in the last century. Still, it was extensive and provided succor for the famished. It wasn't open for in house dining yet, but the husband wife team were well versed in their menu and demonstrated prodigious production skills. Their strong suit was that everything for the sandwich contents was cut on demand, and thus as fresh as possible; and decent torpedo rolls (really the most important element of the creation) were pulled from a bag only as needed. My Honey Turkey and Swiss hoagie with shredded lettuce, mayo and hot/sweet peppers wasn't zoftig, but ample enough to warm and fill the belly of the beast. I enjoyed it. I have been on a deli kick of late, and FD was about as rewarding as the other local family run shops in the region. Good to help keep all of them in business by chosing mom & pop businesses open and thriving, rather than those factory like places that offer gasoline as a side dish.“
