“My boyfriend and I are obsessed with this restaurant. Every time we try to get ramen anywhere else after eating here, nothing compares. Each time we come, I get the Ajika Ramen and the pork buns. It’s almost comical how good everything is, the beverages are great, the food is great, the staff is kind and generous, I literally watched a woman working here give a stuffed animal and free boba to children sitting next to us, and lollipops to a family of young boys leaving. Always impeccable. You can depend on this place to deliver in all senses be it service, quality, and food.“

“We were in town last night for a sports tournament and stumbled upon the Firkin Tavern. With four kids and four adults, we weren’t sure what to expect, especially since the tavern was pretty busy with only one server. At first, we were a little concerned it might be overwhelming, but Mike, our waiter, quickly proved us wrong. He was absolutely amazing! Despite the crowd, he handled everything seamlessly and was extremely attentive. The food also exceeded our expectations, it wasn’t just typical bar food.. everything was delicious and really impressed us. “This is one of two breakfast spots where I enjoy the shrimp and grits. It's very delicious and filling! I get bacon to add to the grits because everything is better with bacon. The latte was also hot for almost my whole meal; everywhere else it's cold after five minutes. I'm not sure how they're doing that, but I hope they keep doing it! All the employees are polite as well. I come from another state to eat here because I love the food and the service is great.“

With several delays she kick butt on serving, bar tending, bar backing, running, and POS all alone lole a 1 person army of badasstery. This women is straight up amazing. I really cannot express how well she handled a literal boat load of customers single handedly. In most places with the situation of delays I've seen, would've folded 10 times over. But Stacey was FN amazing. She was superhuman and honestly if you see her please take care of her. Seriously no way of judging her as a mear mortal. “Ordered takeout about a week ago, expectations were low as I haven’t had much luck with similar places on either side of the river. Indiscriminate google search for “Chinese food near me”, called in the order on my way home from work, stuck to the basics; wonton soup, egg rolls, fried dumplings, and mushu pork. Proceeded to the location from which I had blindly ordered and, recognizing the store front upon arrival, resigned myself to another late night lack luster dinner on the couch.
Wrong! Soup wontons (generous count), egg rolls, and dumplings look/taste hand made and were freaking delicious, bawler soft fried egg on the mushu, and both entree and dipping sauces were flavorful without being over salted. Everything was as order, hot, cooked perfectly, and ready in the given time. Zero hesitation in this recommendation and many predicted returns. Thanks Royal Chef for an extremely pleasant surprise, GREAT FOOD!👍👍“

“I’ve ordered here several times. I always do takeout. I see their reviews on lack of deliver services. But my main thing I always order is their pizzas! ?. Recently ordered mozzarella sticks and they we so good! Hit the spot. I’ll try some of their other foods but with caution. First time I ordered onion rings and it wasn’t too great. But I give them a 5 star rating on their pizzas. Best in town and with the best prices.“
