“I came here with my family and we enjoyed the food immensely. I had the lomo saltado and it was so delicious. One of the best I have had. My husband had the fish fritters (chicarron de pescado) which was so tender and fresh and light. I highly recommend this restaurant. We also ordered a plain hamburger for one of my sons who is picky and it was made exactly as he wanted. My other son ordered a salmon which was grilled to perfection. The restaurant is family owned and everything is made fresh when you order. The service was friendly, too. I couldn't recommend it enough.”

“Delicious food. I am notnfrom central America, so, we ask the waitress about some of the dishes. All shebdid was like say the name of the dishes. I can read that, so we asked what are they? She rolled her eyes and walked away passing us off to another waitress to take our order. I ended up having to Google some of the dishes. Wait staff weren't too nice. I guess you must be Guatemalan for them to be nice and all over you, or male for the first waitress to want to help as she was all over other male patrons. That was my only dislike, again the food was very good.”

I am new to the area (I’m a Jersey convert… sorry Brooklyn!!) and always notice this cute place when I visit the park. I’ve always wanted to go but I’m trying to lose weight and I’m on the keto diet (sorry but no keto options here).

Well my grandmother was visiting me so I finally decided to have a cheat meal and cheat treat it was!!!! ? It was delicious!!!

It is pretty expensive as far as getting ice cream goes but the quality and texture was absolutely perfect ?. We love getting the soft serve ice cream. I’ve tried cherry ? dipped cone, vanilla sundae with hot fudge and pineapples and the Italian ice! There were all marvelous!!!!

When I saw that it is a young girl and a little bit older woman working behind the counter each time we visit… it seems like it is a family business and I don’t mind spending a little more to support their ventures. The young lady was extremely kind and friendly every time we visit. It’s hard to find kind young souls these days and she’s a gem ? in the rough. Very sweet family, they can have my money!!

I always get something for myself and for my grandma while she stays with me for a few weeks and now it is grammas favorite place to go!!!!

I’ll be sad to call it quits when I start my diet again but it’s been a fun and memorable summer treat. You can walk up here from the park and enjoy the fresh night air

“Its really good, you have to ask for hot otherwise you'll get frozen and it's not the sameI like to add, their time is very weird I only go there on Saturday cause I work the whole week sometime I go at 8am and I find them just opening and have to wait about an hour to get it hot and other times I go at 10am and they tell me it's too late I don't understand their time but always happy when I get this amazing meal hot.”

“Very good service, very tasty food, but I think that there you have to be careful with some dishes because the spiciness is very high, perhaps if it is possible to let them know that if you are someone who does not tolerate something very spicy, they should regulate it if possible.. .. it's happened to me several times but I always forget to tell you....!!!!!”
