Wow! I stopped in with my wife looking for a quick bite and ordered the tacos. They were phenomenal. Perfect seasoning, nicely moist meat, amazing tortillas. And then we tried the salsa! Rich gave us a short master class on how he makes his salsas on site as we drank them straight out of the little plastic salsa cups. This guy really knows flavor, texture, and presentation and is just a super nice person to talk to. We’ll be back! Thanks Rich!
These were some of the best tacos I have had (and I consider myself a bit of a taco snob)! We tried the pork carnitas tacos and the pork enchiladas tacos. Both were excellent, perfectly cooked, and moist. The green sauce was excellent and the salsa rojo was OUTSTANDING. It was a total star among other delicious ingredients, all freshly preparred onsite. This is a must stop if you are in the area!
If you’ve lived in New Jersey long enough, you develop a healthy skepticism about any place that claims to serve “great pizza.” This state runs on pizza the way Italy runs on espresso. So when I stopped into Main Street Pizza and Tacos, I went in with the mindset of a seasoned pizza juror: optimistic, but ready to issue a stern ruling if necessary.
