“The bar tender was super involved with his customers and you can tell he cares. I forgot his name but I have never had a bar tender ask me if I wanted a cup of water until 2 days. The locals that come in are very relaxed and Nice to talk to. Drink prices are very fairly priced. They have one pool table and a small Foosball table. The one thing that could make this bar shine is if it had food to serve. Besides that I loved it. Must go to“

“Atmosphere/Ambience/Attention to detail: Welcoming & beautiful. Linen tablecloths and napkins are classy. Popovers served at the beginning of one’s meal…Classic & Classy. House Manager monitoring the floor speaks of days gone by…unfortunately. A “Fine Dining” establishment should necessarily have such a person present. Food: Good to Very Good. Service: Exceptional on 5/8/25 (Carey ?). Noise Level: Deafening due to vaulted ceiling and tables being so close together. Lacks privacy. You’re part of your neighbor’s conversation whether you want to be…or not. Overall: By far one of, if not The Best Restaurant in the area. If only they could work on the acoustics. “I am very pleased every time I’ve come here in the last few months. We get seated right away and the food comes out pretty quickly. However, the five stars really goes for the people that work there. They are so friendly which is saying much now a days in the restaurant industry. They have a great attitude, very respectful and just seem to enjoy working together. Keep it Hamilton Applebees team!!!“

“I go to Miller’s ale house every Friday and Saturday night. The food and drinks are good but the server does nothing but use the “f—-“ word way two many times in one night. People at tables look around like why. He climbs around on the overhead shelves like a monkey. He’s constantly yelling and banging on things. I hear he does this things because he’s no good at is job.“

“We are here all the time. You'll know, because the waitstaff knows my son always orders the barbecue chicken. It's a favorite place of ours. “Yes, but make sure they get your order right, visited today for the first time in a while. My order (Stromboli) wasn’t correct but was acceptable…wife got a club, dry turkey and unevenly made. Manager took $4 off my Stromboli. Service was ok, we left disappointed in the food but not hungry…will be a while before we go back for another visit.“

“Never knew this place existed. Happened to be parked there to go in 7/11 when I saw this place.
Friendly when you come in.. prices are pretty good. The chicken was fried crispy and moist. Wasn't dry at all. Chicken seasoned to perfection!

“This unassuming cafe is on the lower level of the Carteret Arms apartments. The residence is a place for the elderly and thus the hours are a bit wonky. Provided you want a meal before 6pm, this should be a go-to spot. \n\nEverything is delicious. They lean towards fried foods, but have a great selection of seafood dishes and grilled options. Neighborhood favorites include the island pasta, which is close to divine. \n\nOn this visit we tried the grilled chicken sandwich and the blackened sandwich, both of which hit the spot. Good greens and cabbage, too. The owner makes homemade desserts. There are a variety of soft drinks and it is otherwise BYOB. \n\nThere is a small area for dining if you want to eat in.“

“We were there last night for dinner and to see the band. What a pleasant experience ! Upon driving up didn’t know what to expect, our first time there. Friendly staff all around beginning with receptionist who gave us a little tour of the layout. Our server was so busy very pleasant and attentive, food was excellent, high quality and delicious. After dinner went to the outside bar where the band was performing. Again very pleasant and attentive servers. If you’ve been there you know, if not make plans to go. “Wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. Seafood tower the best part of this $300 meal for 3. Their mussels were good, but had better. Their red fish was delicious. Their keylime pie went in the garbage. Our salads came after the meal, Ceasars with bread crumbs no croutons and definitely no anchovy, which i find odd for a seafood place. I dine out quite a bit, this was mediocre at best. Wont be going back. Would consider it if they had a liquor license just for the tower.“

“The food was great! They serve large portions with their homemade cheese bread and cinnamon bread! Prices are reasonable. Our waiter Cesar handled our table of 9, including 3 young children with ease. We can’t wait to come back next time we are in town!“

“Under new management but still welcoming! My family has been patronizing Kasdon’s since 1972. We have never been disappointed w/ the menu, staff or atmosphere. [Love the staff] It’s still our go to place when we’re looking for a comfortable place for a bite or takeout. [Try the pizza] Even though it is under new management it still has maintained that atmosphere that makes you feel welcome anytime you walk in.“

“This corner store & deli, Lucky 7 IS THE BEST!!!!Their food is so fresh, it may take a few minutes but it's soooooo worth it.Great prices on vapes, large size yummy drinks ... Sizes not offered at like Wawa or 7-11. And breakfast sandwiches are outta this world, they're fresh n ready to go in many varieties, only like $5 and they're large!!The owner, Jamie is very nice, professional and helpful. Lucky 7 is my favorite spot to go grab chow and other odds n ends.“

“Wasn’t a fan of the establishment under previous ownership. Went to today for breakfast knowing it was redone with the new owners. WOWZA! So much cleaner! Nothing was sticky or filthy! Pricing seems fair (even with add-ons), and food was tasty. however the bussers (is that what they are still called??) were FABULOUS. The young lady was great to know when I said a child was in the mix she just brought coloring items, and the young man was always making sure to refill coffee or clear dirty dishes. Looking forward to going back to try lunch and enjoying more breakfast noms in the future!“

“If you don’t want to cook and want a meal out shared with family or friends this is a nice place to enjoy. Sign up for their emails and rewards program before you head out to save a little money when you visit. They send out meal specials almost every day. They have a nice salad bar with many things to make a great salad so make sure to add on the endless salad bar. We also enjoyed fried shrimp and French Fries. The shrimp were crispy and delicious. They come with tarter and cocktail sauce. I enjoyed them without any sauce. Sadly I asked for crispy French Fries as did my dinner companion. We both received limpy warmish fries. Next time we will go with the tater tots. During the week if you arrive between 3:00 and 6:00 (Happy Hour) you can enjoy some reduced pricing for some drinks from the bar. We enjoyed the red house wine for $4 a glass. It was enjoyable with our meals. During this time period you can also enjoy $6 appetizers. We arrived during this time and easily got a table. Our server was pleasant and helpful but she had a lot of tables so sometimes service was a little delayed. By the time we were finished our meals (and Happy Hour was over) the crowd had arrived and many were waiting. So come early and enjoy Happy Hour pricing, less crowds and some good meals!“

“I was born and raised in South Philly. My wife and I moved to Lumberton in 2002. Not wanting to go back to Philly every time we wanted pizza, we looked out here. Finally, we found Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza. Although not as big as the pizza I'm used to in Philly, it is delicious! Perfectly well done on the bottom and not greasy.
