“18 in Garlic Bread CheeseSteak with extra cheese is Delicious.Mega fries are really good to. The only thing I don’t recommend is the wiz it will ruin the cheesesteak it was to watery and made the bread soggy. We gave them a second chance and switched back to American cheese and it was really good. Very pricy. It’s usually a treat for us to eat here. But we are usually happy with the service and food,“
“This place is hard to rate... decent hard working staff and patrons alike, but does sometimes draw the "wrong crowd", you know, guys that look like me, ?. Kind of a dive, but its ok, you don't even mind. I've only been there a few times and i have no complaints.“
“I just had the fried chicken honey mustard sandwich and it was delicious! The fries were excellent! Our server was very friendly and the service was speedy. This was my second time here and both experiences were great! Excellent place for a nice meal. As they say, "Try it, you'll like it!" ????“
“Food good, good service and cool atmosphere. Plus, this perkins made it through 2020. They're back on the beat! The managers are professional and care about the customersDietary restrictions: Low sodium and sugar dishesParking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Yes....kids menuWheelchair accessibility: Up to pat, I'm thinking??“
“I heard a lot about Jules@market. When the house jazz band was scheduled we took the opportunity to check it out. The ambiance was great. A subtitled film noir projected against one wall while the jazz trio played against the opposite wall. We loved that. There’s an open kitchen design which really works in an otherwise tight space. One small minus is that it could be vented better. I came home smelling like food. Having said that, the food was exceptionally good. I read some reviews that spoke about small portions. My response is- if you want tonnage, eat fast food or at a chain restaurant. Jules@market is not that. Everything was fresh and on point. One drawback- most restaurants that offer sparkling bottled water also offer flat. I was surprised that Aqua Panna wasn’t available but Pelligrino was available. We don’t drink tap water so I was forced to drink carbonated water which isn’t the greatest for my stomach. Had I known I would have brought my own. Now the service- the staff was super friendly. I left over 20% because of this. But, to put it bluntly they need training. The food is great, the prices are high, the ambiance is amazing. The service should match but it doesn’t. I’m being specific in this review because I love that Bristol is changing and growing and want this restaurant to really really succeed. So here are my comments:1) when people put utensils together to the side it indicates they are finished and the plate can be removed. When it is open and food remains don’t ask to take the plate. 2) Remove all dirty dishes promptly- out bread dishes and used butter stayed on the table the entire meal 3) clear the table before bringing dessert. Looking at dirty dishes while eating the most perfect key lime pie detracts from the experience. 4) timing could be better. We waited 25 minutes for our appetizers and then waited again for a side after being served our main courses at separate times. Have someone follow the server and put the entire course down together. 5) Not once were our water glasses refilled by staff. We poured the Pelligrino ourselves 6) Never bring the plastic bus bins onto the floor to clear a table. That’s for diners, not nice restaurants. Use a tray to remove dishes if need be.I eat at high end restaurants and the service makes the night. That’s why we tip and don’t get take out, we like to relax and have a pleasant experience. I’d love to come back and have the amazing food ( worth every Penny) and have the service be more on point. The food is perfect, fresh, tasty, excellent presentation. The staff couldn’t be friendlier- really lovely people. The ambiance is great, quaint and inviting. I gave a five star because I think the service just needs a little tweak.UPDATE: After posting my review I was contacted by a man saying he was the general manager. I’m not sure how he got my phone number but I wish he would not have called. He was positively berating me about how my review was damaging, he had 15 people to keep on payroll, his family was from Bristol, and I just wrote the review to benefit myself. I could barely respond. He was erratic and attacking. It was off putting considering my teenage son was in the car as he wouldn’t let up and was on speaker. At first I tried speaking with him. I felt my review was good, fair, and spoke very highly about everything except the service- which others have critiqued similarly here on google review. After five minutes of him venting I was still trying to make things right and asked if I could make a suggestion. His response was very rude. He said,” if you make it quick.” At that point I realized that whatever is going on in his life- he decided to take it out on me. I was done. I said,” Never mind. Have a good day.”I later heard that the jazz house band who I was seen talking to was fired and told that I complained about the music. That’s absurd and a lie. They were fired as some sort of weird retribution or maybe they can’t afford to pay them anymore and used me as a scapegoat. Either way this restaurant is not managed properly.“
“What an incredible event for our niece Angelina on her 18th Birthday! The family Nick, Patty and Alex Mastoris, down to the amazing staff that helped work Angelina's 18th birthday dinner was on point. The food, the amazing service and overall experience of how organized the dinner went. The family made our nieces birthday extra special that she won't ever forget. All family and friends enjoyed their cocktails, mocktails, dessert stations and prefix meal that was ABSOLUTELY delicious. Thank you so much Mastoris family! We will be definitely planning on a future party with you folks again. We are very thankful to all of you. Allison J“
“We did not have a reservation, and the host went out of his way to make sure that we could have our dinner. Excellent food, excellent service. Atmosphere impeccable. We will definitely be back and highly recommend but our recommendation is to make a reservation. Enjoy!!!“
“We had a nice lunch today! I loved my eggplant, tomato, and avocado tower. My friend loved her tomato basil soup and bacon grilled cheese! Our server was attentive, timely, and informative. It's a great go-to place at any time. Parking was plentiful! This time, we had some apps. Service and food are still great!“
“Very nice experience, great food! It's a farm to table experience with the best quality ingredients. The blue cheese encrusted steak and lobster risotto were amazing.Parking: If you are planning after dinner to go to the movie theater, drive around the outside to park on that side. If the mall closes you cannot walk back thru to your car.“
“Kitchen 87 is that good home cooked breakfast that we all love, but it's not just that the food is awesome the atmosphere is a feeling of comfort and it goes well with food. And as long as they had great employment like Lindsey theybwill never have a issue.“
“Great restaurant & bar! We went to celebrate a birthday. Food was very good and portions are nice size! Large menu with many options. Specialty drink and dessert menu very nice also. Our server Jacqueline was wonderful! Very friendly and extremely accommodating! Can't wait to go back!“
“Wow!! Thank you Yelp!! We feel like we found a hidden gem!! But it's definitely not hidden. It was a pretty busy tavern. Service was wonderful! The food was delicious! The portions are huge!! I had the Country Chicken. So much flavor!! It is listed as spicy. You can request the level of heat. They add red pepper flakes. I asked for a little and it was perfect. My husband had the Spaghetti and Meatballs which is a Sunday special and enjoyed it. I definitely recommend this restaurant! We will definitely be back!“
“The team at The Madison and Thomas, in particular, were exceptional. The venue's beauty was breathtaking, and its cleanliness was without fault. The culinary experience was a highlight, with dishes that transcended traditional event food, both in presentation and quality. Thomas, a true professional, made the planning process a breeze with his patience, knowledge, and helpfulness. The service received from Immanuel and the staff on the night of was flawless, and every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our guests felt welcomed and cared for. A big thank you to everyone for making this milestone event so memorable.“
“I want to thank you very much for the nice dinner I received on Easter! My brother picked me up an Easter meal because I just got home from the hospital and was not feeling well yet. Well this meal was everything and morel excellent!! Thanks “
“Use to frequent maritsas down the road until their prices kept going up and portions especially coffee cups got smaller. As a lifetime shader this place was never on my radar but I stopped in on a Sunday with my girl and got breakfast while she got lunch. Plenty of food cooked perfect and brought out in a timely matter. We've had the same waitress twice now who is very friendly. Place is always crowded and you get that small hometown diner restaurant feel .“
“My daughter has Celiac disease and can't eat gluten. Jay's has a FANTASTIC menu for those with this problem! His gf pretzel rolls are to die for and the regular pretzel rolls are delicious too! They cook all of the gf food in a separate fryer. We love the gf chicken fingers too. Since all of the gf food has to go through a single cook, it's best to order that before hand because it might take a few extra minutes during busy times. Jay also gives back to the community with donations towards heating oil for those in need during Christmas times. It's an order up window only but there is an outside covered area where you can eat. They also have gf ice cream sandwiches and cakes. It's so nice to have a place that offers delicious fast food that is safe for all members of the family! Thanks so much Jay for everything you do!Dietary restrictions: Fantastic for gluten free food. All gf food is cooked separately and marked with a green sticker. Be sure to mention it when ordering.“
“For a short notice, the venue and menu worked great for a family get together. Amber was our waitress and made sure we got our items correctly and efficiently. Would recommend Millers, specifically Ambers section to anyone.Kid-friendliness: Nice kids menu“
“A cool local pub that serves amongst other things, pork roll sanwiches. I had never had a pork roll and so on a whim was suggested to try The Pines Tavern and it was pretty good. The service was exceptional, super friendly staff behind the bar, which I always appreciate.“
“The food is great and the service is awesome. The owner and his wife are very nice people. Also I live her flower garden. Thank You once again for the wonderful services and the awesome ? food.Wheelchair accessibility: Very much wheelchair ♿️ assistance“
“Wonderful Waitress, Wonderful food, Great atmosphere! As we moved away from the area, we hadnt been here for years, however still as wonderful as ever!! The Fish and Chips were a great size and perfectly crispy, great fries! The Shepherds Pie was delicious! The soups, Seafood chowder and Beef Borscht were so yummy!! The only disappointment we had was that we bought baked goods as we were leaving and in the hustle and bustle of the entrance way, we didnt realize that we were given different brownies than we ordered. We wanted the Green Brownie dessert, I think Grasshopper Brownie Bars, and were given four plain chocolate with frosting. Overall though, we really enjoyed this meal!“
“First time coming in today, we were greeted with a smile everyone was so nice, the food was amazing, I got the biscuits with sausage gravy and omg SOOO GOOD !! Love the drip coffee as well! We loved the whole vibe of the place , good music , even the look of the place was great. We really enjoyed it , will be back again! Definitely the new spot to be regulars at 10/10 recommend.“
“I've been hearing for a while that the E has the best bar food in the area and my first visit didn't disappoint. The kielbasa was great, the hot wings were actually hot and the pizza looked excellent. I can't wait to try more items off of this menu.“
“Food was good. Atmosphere was nice for a visiting out-of-state police officer. Company stor offers a lot of Philly PD swag. Very "safe" environment. Will visit again the next time in town. Recommended for LEOs to add it to your list if in the area.“
“Surprisingly good, reasonable prices, pleasant wait staff. I'm trying a new omelet each time, have issues with gluten and dairy. Can't find fault with anything. Breakfast or a late brunch. I shouldn't spread the word, there won't be space for my group next time.“
“Update 3/19/2024. We have been there many times. Everything we have order is always good. Our friends also liked the food. Cauliflower pizza with hot cherry peppers is very good. Onion soup was good. If you have not tried them, please do so.Dietary restrictions: somethings are gluten free.“
“My husband and I had been searching for a local breakfast spot for years and have been disappointed by all the area diners. I heard about 2nd St Pike Grill through my high school alumni group. May sound odd to some but shout out to CHS and go there if you're an alum reading this! Anyway...I saw eggs benedict. I can't count the times I've been left sad or questioned how the hollandaise was prepared. OMG my taste buds were so happy! My husband, one of the pickiest eaters on Earth demolished his potatoes saying this is the first time he ever had perfect potatoes. Atmosphere is chic and cozy. The staff is superb, attentive, and personable. We've been coming back just about every weekend now. One more thing - when you go, treat yourself to the most perfect omelet, ever.“
“We love Steam Pub. Thank you so much to Chris for making things right with our order we had from takeout. We thought things were missing and Chris went above and beyond to fix it. It turned out that it was our mistake and when we went back to give back the gift card and wine he had given us he would not take it back. We go to Steam almost weekly and this kindness and amazing customer service guarantees we will continue to be loyal customers. Our sincerest apologies to all who prepped our order correctly. It was our oldest son’s mistake for not seeing the second bag. Thanks again and see you soon“
““I recently ordered the chocolate banana pancakes with a side of bacon, home fries, and eggs, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The pancakes were heavenly, perfectly complemented by the decadent combination of chocolate and banana. The bacon was delightfully crispy, just the way I like it, and the home fries were seasoned to perfection. As for the eggs, they were cooked to absolute perfection, adding the perfect touch to this scrumptious breakfast. Overall, I had an incredibly satisfying experience and would highly recommend this dish to anyone looking for a delicious and fulfilling breakfast option.”“
“This place is amazing. This was my first time having this place. It was amazing, from the girl taking the order and explaining how ordering worked. She even gave my son a sample of Mac and Cheese to my son to try before ordering his kids meal. While eating Maribeth came around and was giving out samples. She was clearing off tables and asking if she could clear off what we were done with. She was very friendly and we enjoyed talking with her.I will say the snap bean are amazing and if I could’ve, I would’ve brought the whole pot home. All of the food is delicious.. I had pulled chicken and brisket, along with cornbread and snap bean and baked beans and you get so much food, the meats are so tender and flavorful. So worth the hour drive.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and it’s filled with all of the foods kids love.. they even let the kids sample the Mac and cheese.“
“I like this place. The pizza is consistently good and is my metric for quality. And other dishes are great. I had the sausage and peppers sandwich and Caesar salad and they were great. Finally the staff is super friendly and devoted to quality service.“
“My girlfriend and her family have been dining at Marco's specifically for their all you can eat Dungeness crabs now for years. This was my first time. We made reservations for 6:30 on a Saturday. We finished up shopping a little early and Marco's had no issue seating us prior to our reservation. The feel in the restaurant was what you'd expect from a casual clubhouse vibe. Our server was welcoming, attentive, and very hard working. Constantly making rounds, asking if we needed anything, cleaning tables, running food. She made the experience that much better. As far as the crabs go, they come with garlic bread, fries, and a soup or salad, and you're able to order the crabs cooked in garlic butter, old bay, or both. My girlfriend is the pro and recommended both so that's what I did and they didn't disappoint. The $49.99 price tag on the ayce crabs for their winter months in my opinion is a great value considering other local ayce seafood deals. The crabs were cooked very nicely and were very easy to open. Each leg and cluster produced large, in-tact, succulent pieces of crab. To drink I had a glass of Maker's Mark neat and a draft Yuengling (which you can't really mess up, but the Yuengling was cold and crisp). My gf had a vodka club with a splash of pineapple which was refreshing and wasn't overly sweet. I did not try the garlic bread as I was trying to save as much room as possible for crabs, however the old bay fries were great. The soup of the day was cheeseburger which I chose instead of a salad. I'm hoping it's not an indication of how the rest of their soups are. This was very below average and would make me shy away from ordering soup off of their menu again. With that being said I'm not too worried about the soup impacting my overall experience at Marco's. I was there solely for the crabs and prior to arriving I was not planning on eating anything else. We were told that in the coming months as the colder weather moves out, prices will be going back up to their Spring/Summer prices of $65/person. Definitely get in before then if you're looking for a reasonable price for all you can eat crab“
“The Coffee Cup Cafe is an absolute gem! I had the best breakfast experience of my life here. The pancakes were incredibly fluffy, the bacon was cooked to perfection, and the coffee was absolutely delicious. The staff was so inviting and made me feel right at home - it was like being at a friend's house! If I didn't live so far away, I would make this my daily spot without a doubt. If you're in the area, do not miss the opportunity to visit this delightful cafe. It's a true breakfast paradise!“
“We got the cheese steak cali style (with tomato, lettuce, onion, pickles, and mayo), a strawberry shake, and a root beer float. The cheese steak was really good: the cheese was nice and melty, there was a large portion of steak, the cali style had the perfect combo of veggies and I love the finishing touch of mayo on the roll. The root beer float was delicious and refreshing and normally, you can't beat a Stewart's root beer on a giant scoop of vanilla ice cream, however, the strawberry shake did (unfortunately) beat out the OG float for us. It was nice and sweet, refreshing, and had the right creamy consistency you'd expect from the perfect milkshake, it also had slices of strawberry mixed, which I thought was a nice finishing touch. Definitely will be grabbing a growler of root beer the next time we swing back to Vineland, NJ.“
“If i could put 10 stars i would, me and my boyfriend stopped by because we were in the area and were looking for some food to munch on. We got greeted by the lady as soon as we walked in and the atmosphere was nice and cozy. And the food… AMAZING!!!! Its delicious and hot soooo flavorful!!! Definitely recommend the lobster mac, salmon fried rice, sweet chili tenders, fried chicken, mashed potatoes. I’ll definitely be back whenever im in the area again!!!!! Also if you have card dont worry they got cashapp/apple pay!“
“Ok hear me out. Me and my husband accidentally found this place. Looking for food after a get together we went to he wanted a burger I want wings and we saw this place was open. So we took a chance and I’m glad we did. The food was good. The service was welcoming and I will be back and I’m also mad I didn’t get a picture of my food, but check them out ASAP. And follow their Insta to book your get together or whatever“
“Not the prettiest place but really great food. A lot of vegan options but also plenty of meat for us carnivores.Service is always friendly and attentive, portions are huge so you can definitely share. You gotta try the special sweet potato and jalapeno soup! Not too spicy but just right. Prices are reasonable.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan options with the ability to add meat if you prefer. You really don't need it though, and I'm not vegan. This has become our go-to place for Fridays in Lent.“
“I called ahead to schedule a team lunch for our out of state hockey team (total of 36 people, about half were kids). They were extremely accommodating, quick to respond, and set up a plan to make sure we were able to order and pay for each family efficiently.I sent our orders in 24hrs in advance by family hockey number and when we arrived, everything went so smoothly!!! Pitchers of water were already on the tables, additional drink orders quickly taken, and food started to come quickly. Everything tasted great and the service was amazing!!!Thanks again from the DE Ducks PW hockey team! We would highly recommend The Borough Pub!“
“This is my favorite breakfast place. You get generous portions and mugs of tea or coffee. Dinner is also exceptional with both Americana and German cuisine. The waitresses are top notch with their attentiveness. Just a great old-time eating experience.“
“Ordered a chicken pizza steak and fries. The fries were crispy and tasty though a little too salty. I had high hopes for the sandwich but it fell short for me. All of the sauce was on top of, not in, the sandwich and I didn't taste any cheese. They put a piece of clear wrap over the top which made the entire sandwich soak up the sauce causing the whole roll to be soggy. They also didn't cut it, which would have helped since it was being shared.“
“This was my first time here, not an empty seat in the place but we did not wait long to be seated. Super friendly waitress and she didn't pressure us to order our drinks as soon as we sat down. It was hard to choose with all of the options. I ordered a regular coffee, but I also tried my daughters smoothie and my husbands salted caramel mocha chino. Those were delicious. I ordered a western omelette with potatoes and an English muffin. My omelette looked good and had a good flavor but was watery and not fully cooked on the inside, so I could only eat a few bites. The English muffin was burnt, hard as a rock and was not edible. The potatoes were good but had to pick out the cooked ones as some potato pieces were still hard and not cooked all of the way. The prices were decent and portions were pretty big. We stayed for a few minutes after paying as we were chatting with family we haven’t seen in a while. They were still very busy and I’m sure they needed our table so we wrapped up our conversation and headed out. The best thing was them giving me a to go cup for my coffee. I guess that’s their sign of they want you to get up and leave.“
“We just had a retirement party last night and the food was amazing. Derek was always checking on us to make sure that we had everything we needed. I will definitely have another party there again. We had about 30-40 people there and definitely had enough food and drinks and the food was “
“This is the best sandwich shop in the Philly area. It’s attached to the Home Depot store n Bustleton ave. It’s hard to believe there isn’t a line out the door. I believe it’s due to the large Ukrainian population in the area.“
“Have been looking for a good diner for a while and I am so glad we came across this one. Who is believe is the owner if not the manager personally made my root beer float my first time there and it brought up memories of my grandmother . The quality of the food has been by far the best from all the diners we have tried. We have only been twice and one was during a big rush and the quality did not change. Definitely our go to diner from now on, a must try!!“
“My husband and I have had breakfast here a few times, always good, so we tried dinner last night. We both ordered the 12oz. strip steak and I like mine rare and he likes his well done and they were both cooked perfectly! The meal also included a baked potato and green beans. I love the food! The prices are reasonable and I can't wait to try their lunch. So happy we discovered this place!!“
“Okay, this was our first time back in 7 years (Yup 7 yrs.). 1st the remodeling is beautiful- Gives you an upscale feel, 2nd Made us feel welcome, 3rd It was very clean wide dinning area with wide booths, that you don't feel like people are sitting up on you. 4th Our waitress was so professional and pleasant. We will come again.“
“A true gem that you probably wouldn’t know about unless someone told you. Plenty of traditional breakfast food and sandwiches that are always excellent, but what makes this place really unique is the creative Korean dishes they also offer. I had a bulgogi cheesesteak with kimchi today and it was so good. The owner is also always so pleasant to chat with. This place is special all around, definitely worth going to.“
“Pat's Colonial kitchen is a cozy warm place to enjoy yummy food and catching up with friends. The staff is extremely friendly. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by their staff and the owners. They make you feel welcome and part of the Pat's family. The servers are great at helping you figure out what you want to eat if you are struggling with a decision. The food is amazing and always cooked to perfection. The portions are generous, I am never able to finish my meal. When I am going out to breakfast with friends in Newtown, Pat's is my first choice. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable and my coffee cup us always full.“
“Ended up at Jimmy’s on a Saturday night during St Patrick’s Day weekend and couldn’t speak highly enough of the joint. Great food, excellent service, and delicious drinks. Jimmy the owner was more than welcoming and conversational enough to accommodate our party of 10. Will definitely be coming back soon. Try the roast pork sandwich!“
“We’ve made Bailey’s our go to place for over 20 years. We will continue to make Bailey’s our first choice for dining out. I was happy business was great for St Patty’s Day but the music was way too loud. My wife and I could not hear each other the entire time. Very frustrating! We skipped desert and left immediately after meal. We got home and ears are still ringing. A rare disappointing experience with Bailey’s“
“I’ve been here three times and each one was great. I made a reservation for my birthday dinner a few days early and had to add a few people last minute; they made it work and fit us all in. The lentil burger is delightful, the beer cheese in the pretzel platter and doghouse fries is delicious, and the feta and hummus appetizer is also delectable. Drinks are strong, staff is lovely.“
