“Great local place. Nice to come grab a quick meal or ice cream treat. The only negative for me is they never seem to wear gloves or use utensils when making brownie sundaes etc. I hate watching them take money or a card from someone and then touch a brownie right after.“

“Did some plumbing work for these guys with the previous company I worked for. Being that my wife and I had just moved to Riverside(late 2018), I had always wanted to try this place. Finally got around to it tonight and boy they definetly not disappoint. We ordered take out, food was delivered hot and fresh. Very flavorful, authentic and delicious. We have a 2 pizza spots, a Chinese spot, bar spot and now I have found my go to Mexican restaurant ?. Keep it up guys!!!“

“Ordered a chicken pesto Stromboli and one of the reasons was the sun dried tomato’s. Unfortunately it came with regular tomatoes which made it watery. Sun-dried tomatoes are more expensive than plum tomatoes and the flavor is very different.if they were not available the server should have mentioned and the price should reflect the difference. Very disappointed and only had a couple bites.“

“Amazing place with amazing food! The fries were great and I recommend getting them with the Wiz. Unfortunately, we are from our of town, otherwise this would would be one to add to the rotation for sure!

“I love this place. They have some of the freshest distinct cocktail that I’ve seen that hasn’t been from a fancy spot or a speakeasy. They usually have a special and or some fresh fish. Backdoor pizza is also outback🤫. Only drawback is whenever me and my lady come in one female barkeep seems to purposely avoid greeting us or serving us. We sit at the bar and she’ll stay away like she playing defense for Manchester United and then when one of her co workers takes care of us she speak to any new patrons that come in and sit near us. Not sure what that could be but otherwise 5 ⭐️’s.“

“Excellent food quality, I tried the “New Bedford Scallop & Shrimp Risotto”, slightly hearty portion, very high quality on the palate and at the same time you can taste the flavors of the natural raw material without being “dirty” with seasonings or anything unnecessary. Cost in the American average of restaurants (the real ones), 35$ risotto. Exorbitant espresso cost, very long but not bad, $6“

“Everything about my daughter’s bridal shower was perfect! The venue looked beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff was excellent- so nice and friendly. Our guests were impressed with the venue and I’m sure they will recommend it to others, as will I. Thank you to Jackie and all the staff for making our experience exceptional.“

“I love it here! I love that it’s close to home. The parking situation is the only thing I would say is an issue. Once the busyness starts to slow down I would say it will relax a bit on the parking and there will be more tables open but who knows! If you have an issue with anything please let a manager know, I had a problem with my food coming out wrong and the manager fixed it right away for me. Shakes are so good and I got the Orange Creamsicle. Never can go wrong with some fries and cheese on the side“

“Mt Laurel is not a hot bed for… anything… but Monterey Grill is THE silver lining in Mt Laurel. Chef Andrew and his kitchen staff have a group personality matches their menu to a “T”. It’s controlled chaos but the flavor profiles of every dish are enjoyable and it gives guests something different to enjoy every night. The waiting staff are all amazing; welcoming, fun, and professional. They know their menu like pros and they know their wine list equally as well. The regular bar tenders are GREAT and their smokey old fashions are next to none in the area.

Only feedback: Management could do a better job at livening up the atmosphere… there used to be live music all the time and now they only have live music on Fridays. There was recently a change in management, so I suspect that these unwanted changes came from ownership and the new upper management team to save money, but it’s been a big swing and an even bigger miss.

Locals have loved this spot for years. Hopefully ownership come to terms with their mistakes and decide to run it back because Monterey Grill was perfect the way it was for many years.

Don’t let it turn into a “chainy” feeling vibe like Harvest or Red Stone. People like restaurants that are boutique and different. Character is everything in the hospitality business and the staff at Monterey Grill already has that!

Management has a choice to make… hopefully they figure it out. I’ll always support this spot, if for nothing else because the staff deserves the support.“

“Recently went there with a group of 8 guys. The bartender (Princess) Diana was phenomenal! She couldn't do enough for us. Extremely energetic, nice and accommodating. Food was delicious (garlic parm wings, honey hot wings, fries and mini panzerattis). Snuck a piece of my buddies cheesesteak and I'm glad I did! Highly recommend Gleasons.“

“Kia was our service and when i tell you she is the bomb.com. She made my family feel like we was the only ones she was attending too. She had 4 other tables, but she made all the tables feel like we was top priority. She’s very amazing with children and you can tell she really loves her job. The manger Steven (i think that was his name) came and checked on the table and let us know Kia is definitely one of the best. I’ll be back for sure on Kia shift.

“We had our wedding at Hearthside over the weekend and were completely blown away by how amazing the day went. The food was unbelievably delicious and the staff’s attention to detail was incredible! Planning everything with them was so simple and enjoyable. Every request was met with a yes. Even our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the space, food, and staff. Manager took $4 off my Stromboli. Service was ok, we left disappointed in the food but not hungry…will be a while before we go back for another visit.“

We loved every course we had; a unique caesar salad (with grilled broccolini and fennel!), the "world's best hotdog" (a wagyu hotdog on a delicious buttery roll which truly was the world's best hotdog), truffle gnocchi mac 'n cheese, roasted peach confit duck, and barbecued chili lime pork. The S'mores cookie pie dessert was simply amazing! Service was exceptional (Kyle was the ideal server! polite, friendly, gracious and attentive - thank you so much). “We had dinner here for the first time on Sat, 11/12/22–what a wonderful experience! The staff was friendly and very helpful. We had muscles for our appetizer that were fresh and very tasty. We each had different entrees, one the salmon dish and the other chicken—both were amazing, with each of us saying we’d order our meal again or try the other one next time. Then dessert: one had the s’mores dessert and the other the chocolate bread pudding—we didn’t think we’d have room, but we made room, because both were excellent! Plus the chef said he’d be changing the menu every week—we can’t wait to go back!“

“We were there last night for dinner and to see the band. What a pleasant experience ! Upon driving up didn’t know what to expect, our first time there. Friendly staff all around beginning with receptionist who gave us a little tour of the layout. Our server was so busy very pleasant and attentive, food was excellent, high quality and delicious. After dinner went to the outside bar where the band was performing. Again very pleasant and attentive servers. If you’ve been there you know, if not make plans to go. Thank you Union House for a very pleasant evening.“

“It was kinda dead on a Wednesday, but after 3 bars and getting hungry stopped at Cheers Cafe on Westmoreland st in Port Richmond...for a pint...early enough they served food. Had a pint and some soup and OMG!!! Soup was amazing..made from scratch and was freaking delicious. Didn't even want to drink anymore wanted to just keep eating...Ordered crab balls to go...he he he!!! Then ordered whatever they had left with the soup...I am so enjoying my day off with the soup!!!! DEFINATELY A PLACE TO STOP FOR FOOD...SO YUMMY!!!“

“Been to the Kove several times, it never disappoints, the food is the absolute best I have recommended the Kove to many friends, they all thank me after they have experienced it there, we all agree besides the food being great the service and the atmosphere is also the best. I highly recommend the Kove, if you haven’t been there yet, you have to try it. I make sure I go there once a week.“
