“I believe that someone doesn't know what they are doing to be charging $25 + because they have crab legs. Crab legs should be warm and not placed on ice. For that price , The first time I was there. They had 4 skinny legs not worth eating. It's good to make the money, but give the clients a reason to pay so much for nothing.“

“I recently celebrated a milestone birthday with a dinner at Elwood with family and friends. Chef Adam and Jenny were wonderful to work with and the meal was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved the venison scrapple amuse bouche. We shared several orders of perogies and cheese platters to kick off the meal, followed by a couple of orders of the tri- tip beef, the sea bass, and the rabbit, which are served family style with a whole host of accompaniments, including exceptional mashed potato that got rave reviews and deserves it's own mention. Several of the diners had never had rabbit, but they all tried it and it was a hit! I already have plans to come with some friends for an afternoon tea, and my husband and I will definitely be back for dinner and/or one of the dining events that Chef Adam hosts. “I cannot say enough wonderful things about Foodwerx and the incredible experience they provided for our daughter’s Christening at our home! From start to finish, their professionalism, attention to detail, and exceptional service exceeded all of our expectations.

A special thank you to Roxanne, who was truly amazing throughout the entire planning process! She helped me curate the perfect menu, personally walked through our home to plan the layout and flow of the event, and coordinated everything from the tent and bar to glassware rentals. She was constantly checking in, keeping me updated on deliveries, and making sure every detail was taken care of. She was incredibly kind, responsive, and always just a text or phone call away. Her dedication made the entire planning process feel effortless!

On the day of the Christening, the entire Foodwerx team was outstanding. Everything was beautifully presented, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was impeccable. They even went above and beyond by decorating the food tables with beautiful pink accents to complement the theme of our daughter’s special day. “Wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. Seafood tower the best part of this $300 meal for 3. Their mussels were good, but had better. Their red fish was delicious. Their keylime pie went in the garbage. Our salads came after the meal, Ceasars with bread crumbs no croutons and definitely no anchovy, which i find odd for a seafood place. I dine out quite a bit, this was mediocre at best. Wont be going back. Would consider it if they had a liquor license just for the tower.“

“We got married here on 11/07/2025 and it was truly the best day. Sam, Marie and the whole team were spectacular. They made the planning process so easy. When the kids were super load, she was quick to say it was ok and they were not bothering anyone. The ambiance was very inviting and the food was beyond delicious - plentiful portions. “I love this place. They have some of the freshest distinct cocktail that I’ve seen that hasn’t been from a fancy spot or a speakeasy. They usually have a special and or some fresh fish. Backdoor pizza is also outback🤫. Only drawback is whenever me and my lady come in one female barkeep seems to purposely avoid greeting us or serving us. We sit at the bar and she’ll stay away like she playing defense for Manchester United and then when one of her co workers takes care of us she speak to any new patrons that come in and sit near us. Not sure what that could be but otherwise 5 ⭐️’s.“

Had a pint and some soup and OMG!!! Soup was amazing..made from scratch and was freaking delicious. “We were there last night for dinner and to see the band. What a pleasant experience ! Upon driving up didn’t know what to expect, our first time there. Friendly staff all around beginning with receptionist who gave us a little tour of the layout. Our server was so busy very pleasant and attentive, food was excellent, high quality and delicious. After dinner went to the outside bar where the band was performing. Again very pleasant and attentive servers. If you’ve been there you know, if not make plans to go. “We had such a great experience at Applebee’s! The food was delicious, but Ki, our server, really made our visit! 🥰 She was nothing short of friendly, warm, attentive, and so funny. Our whole group loved her and we were already saying we’d definitely ask for her again next time! 😂❤
She never let our cups run empty and made sure we had everything we needed without us having to ask. You can tell she genuinely cares about making sure her tables have a good experience.
