I usually come for lunch, and every meal has been amazing. I also ordered one of their party platters for a gathering, and it was a huge hit. If you’re looking for excellent sushi and warm, attentive service, I highly recommend this place!“

“I from time to time visit here for a casual dinner with a friend or business associate. This one is quiet and a table is always available, although nowadays I see 2 or 3 tables occupied. When lucky I get to enjoy fresh and finest uni sushi, a fantastic treatment! Sometimes though I need to wait a bit longer than I want, as there are takeout orders in arrears hmmm...“

The lady in the front was also really nice the day that I went! Super vibrant energy and quick service. It IS a little cramped in the store with the amount of people that line up for cheap eats though 😅😅“

“Stopped in to grab some quick takeout. Crispy rice with tuna was pretty good but a little salty. Probably not my favorite sushi spot but the scallop rolls were delicious! Everything was packaged really nicely.

Now for my standards comments. The waiting area is small but clean.“

“I ordered sushi to take away here, and it was amazing! The fish is very fresh, melts in your mouth, and the portions of the rolls are surprisingly generous. Everything is packed very neatly, nothing fell apart on the way. Definitely the best sushi in the area for a cozy dinner at home!“

“Called in to order 1 hour in advance, everything was ready when I got there; maki were fresh and very reasonably priced (except the price doesn’t match what’s listed on their website menu). Great option for a lunch in the park, if you plan in advance (walked in a few times before to learn the hard way you can’t just order right there and not wait for a long time).“

“I pass by this often but never went in. I finally got a strong craving for sushi and stopped by. The prices are good at the quality is delicious. The cashier/staff was very welcoming and great with recommendations. I got a mango tango, dragon roll, spicy salmon, and spicy tuna. It seems like there are regulars in this small place but i can see why. They are speedy for a quick lunch break.

Cash is preferred.

“Im a sushi lover and I can tell if the fish is of high quality. Amazing fresh fish from Japan, I would say best sushi in NYC and NJ area especially for the price point, agreed by my other friends as well. They make the sushi on the spot on the weekends. Fruit cresando was also fresh and creamy!“

“I order the Joji Box pretty regularly—about once a month—since I work in the same building. While I used to be completely obsessed with their takeout omakase box, I have to admit the quality has dipped slightly over time. It was incredibly fresh before, and though it’s not quite the same now, I still find myself going back whenever I’m craving sushi. Plus, if you work in the building, you get a 10% discount, which is a nice perk.“

idk why someone else said the area isn't safe or something - it's literally really close to flushing main st so there's always people around. the entrance is hard to spot though.“

“I bought some take away at Liverpool Street. I buy from wasabi a few times a month. In this occasion the 4 boxes I bought all had spoiled avocado and I had to throw them out. This was the first bad batch I ever bought and wasabi customer service was great and the store refunded me fully. So I can only say I will continue to buy“
