Andaaz defines Indian fine dining in the NJ area. Everything about the place is top notch. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and courteous. Special mention to the lamb chops which was exquisite. The paneer kebab was also brilliantly made. So was the lal maas in the mains. The champaran could have been better but no complaints, it tasted good. That brings me to the desserts which were the highlight of the meals. Each one from the tiramisu to the chocolate cake...
First time in Andaaz. Great ambience. Nice seating. Mild music not hurting your ears. Seats are good. It was a party of twelve and did not have to join tables. They have enough room for small families to big ones. Ordered lot of vegetarian food and others ordered non veg too. Veg food was great. I never eat items with mushrooms and paneer but the others said the tempure taste was very good and it was tastey, it was very nice. Asked for some green cutney and together it tasted...
The food was very tasty and clearly freshly prepared. However, the service and overall atmosphere did not match that same level. The service felt average, with little enthusiasm and only moderate energy from the staff. Additionally, the portion sizes were inconsistent—while the appetizers were generous, the sabzi and rice were quite small, enough for only 2–3 people before running out.
