Had a sauteed soft shell crab special... Excellent. My friend had steak au poivre which she praised. Desserts were peach Melba (special) and crepes...both delicious. And a special cocktail...Limincello Blueberry Spritz which hit the spot. Always loved Sophie's but circumstances kept me away for a few years...so glad to find it as good as I remembered it.
Had not been here in quite some time, not for any specific reason. The food and service were a good reminder that we need to get back more often. They had a special seafood menu in addition to their standard menu. Two of us had the halibut and one the shrimp entree off the seafood menu while another guest had the salmon from the main menu. Everyone loved their dinners. The house salad is big enough for two to share. Service is outstanding.
Sophie's is our favorite local go to spot and it never fails to deliver. The food, service and vibe are amazing and we always feel like we're transported to Paris, eating in a local brasserie. If you haven't been to Sophies, add it to your list.
