Really really good and one of the last authentic kosher delis around. A shame that this type of establishment is declining in popularity. The food is great - do the brisket, please - service is excellent, and portions are generous. The owner, Chris, is friendly and approachable. Seating is family style and the atmosphere is warm. As a lover of a good pastrami sandwich I was told of Fred & Murry's Kosher Deli. Let me tell ya, I'm glad they did. The pastrami was perfect! Lean and seasoned deliciously. Not piled high like the Carnegie deli but made a nice sandwich. The inside is quaint with that NY deli atmosphere. My waiter & the counter guys were friendly & pleasant.

Not too many left and this one happens to be great. I recommend one of theor sognature sandwiches the sloppy joe to share. The french fries are great although you can never go wrong with a home made kinish. My wife loves to pot pie. If you have never tried it i recommend a hot beef tongue on rye with mustard.
