First time there. I had driven by it on a number of occasions traveling through downtown Freehold and it looked like it had a nice vibe. And iIt does. The menu is solid with some great choices and not overly pretentious. The quality of the food and presentation was well above expectation. We will be back.
We have enjoyed The Standard for years through changes and owners. Always delicious, with excellent service and quality. There were four of us and each of us enjoyed our dinner and cocktails. Thank you ... you meet the Standard....
Food and server were great. The piano player was waaaay too loud. Couldn't even speak to the people we were dining with. That was an expensive meal to have horrible ambience. It wasn't a a jazz club either dancing. It is a restaurant!
